"Known for pushing the limits of mainstream country music with the genre-bending MuzikMafia, John Rich, of the hit country duo Big & Rich, takes on his biggest challenge yet. He takes seven established performers from every realm of the entertainment and music industries and immerses them in all things country for a chance to break out as the next big country superstar. The one who is most successful at crossing over by the end of the series will have a country single produced by Rich." The cast includes: Bobby Brown, Carnie Wilson, Dee Snider, Diana DeGarmo, Julio Iglesias Jr., Maureen McCormick, and Sisqó. Bear in mind...I didn't even know about this show when I put Bobby Brown on my death pool list.  This show is going to be showing on CMT, by the way. I happened to see the commercial for the Gone Country show when I decided to watch an episode of Country Fried Home Videos while channel surfing. The My Big Redneck Wedding that followed was pretty funny too though. The bride was proud to point out her wedding dress came with pockets so they could hold her cigarettes and beer. The wedding cake was twinkies and hostess cupcakes. Only on CMT.
