I just had to tell you guys about this. Last night we went to Hy-Vee on 132nd & Dodge in Omaha it was about 10 pm or so. We went in and did our shopping and then came out to our car. There was a white Ford F250 that was parked so amazingly I just couldn't believe it. Now I wish I had taken a picture.

Anyway it was parked diagnoally across 2 Handicapped spots. Not only that it was facing the wrong way down the aisle. It didn't have a handicapped sticker or plate either.

I just couldn't believe it. He wasn't just illegally parked in a handicapped spot which we have all seen people do. He was taking up 2 spots and going down the aisle the wrong way.

There was navy stuff all over the truck as well. So I don't know if he thought he deserved that spot or what but I was speechless. All I could say was WOW. What is wrong with people.

Next time, run him over...then he can justifiably park in the handicapped spot.

The dude truly is an A-hole. But it also pisses me off at how freely they hand out those blue passes. You can have a broken finger it seems and get one. And what is up with Home Depot having 20 freaking blue spots ?!?

Tighten up the standards to get a pass and reduce the number of spots. If I was in charge.

I don't disagree, they do hand them out like candy. There are several people at my day job that have them in thier window. I don't see any reason for them to have a blue pass. Except they are fat and lazy.

It wouldn't have bothered me much if that truck last night had one, however it didn't and that is what amazed me even more.

i have legally qualified for one every since a wreck i was in 15 years ago. however, i have never got the permit and i can walk just fine so i leave them for people that really need it. the thing is, most people i see using them are just fat and lazy, not necessarily handicapped in my opinion.

If I don't see a tag I always say they must be "Mentally Handicapped".

but i was under the impression that they DO hand out tags
for mental handicapps
