| Re: The Video Game Thread Well, I am now able to go online with my Wii. I've only tried playing Smash Bros Brawl online so far. It took a little while to get used of the lag. I don't get the people that take the game online only to taunt during the entire match. I have also played against people who did nothing at all! I will try playing Mario Kart Wii online at some point.

| Re: The Video Game Thread I don't know if there are any Mega Man fans here, but Mega Man 9 on Wii was made available for download Monday morning. The game was pretty tough the first time I played through it. I can breeze through it now. It also features a list of challenges which are kinda like achievements in 360 games. A few are absurd like beating the game without getting hit once! Overall it's a great game with lots of replay value thanks to the challenge list.

| Re: The Video Game Thread Okay, in response to Bud, I will list all the games I currently own for Wii except for Wii Sports. Super Smash Brothers Brawl - Not much to say here. Great game with tons of replay value. Super Paper Mario - For some reason I didn't like this one as much as I thought I would. It has old school 2d game play with 3d elements, but something about it feels very average. I can't explain it. Mario Kart Wii - Very fun game with some VERY cheap A.I. Much more fun to play with other people. Furu Furu Park - This is basically a collection of mini games based off of classic games such as Bubble Bobble and Arkanoid. Most of the mini games are pretty short and there are only about 30 of them. It's better with two players, but still not great overall. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz - The main mode is pretty fun. A lot of the party games aren't very fun, though. Some of them have horrible controls. Overall it's worth checking out for the main mode. Sonic and the Secret Rings - You need a lot of patience with this one. The game play is kinda odd and the motion controls just flat out don't work at times. A lot of trial and error with this one. If you can get used to everything, it's a pretty decent game. There is also a party mode with various mini games. That's decent. Nights: Journey of Dreams - This is a fun one. It's fairly easy to learn. The game play varies. Most of the time you're flying through rings. Other times the game becomes a platformer. The only real negative is that it's hard to figure out how you are supposed to beat certain bosses. Tomb Raider: Anniversary Edition - This is fun. A good number of levels and a fair share of puzzles. There's also a lot of unlockables. Pointing the Wii Remote at the screen to shoot at things can be annoying at times depending what you're trying to shoot. Wario Land: Shake It! - A solid platformer with multiple missions in each level which adds replay value. There are also 12 secret levels which are usually the hardest to complete 100%. It's not really a hard game unless you try to beat it 100%. Also the last boss is pretty tough the first few times you fight him. Animal Crossing: City Folk - This is entertaining. I've heard that it's just a slight upgrade to Animal Crossing: Wild World on the DS. I never played that. So going from the original on Gamecube to this one was quite a difference. There's pretty much always something to do in this game. Especially with Wi-Fi. That might be the best part. The only WiiWare game I have is Mega Man 9 which is great if you like Mega Man games.
