any one see the price of PS3? its like 399 and 499 of a dammn system i bet the games will be 65-75 beacuse of the HD

New Super Mario Bros. came out this week for the DS. I have only played it for a short amount of time, but so far it's pretty fun.

If anyone else plans on buying it this week, you should get it at Nebraska Furniture Mart. They are only charging $27.48.

I bought a Xbox 360 yesterday. My first purchase is gonna be Call of Duty 2 and then Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. Does anyone here have Resident Evil 4 for gamecube? Just curious on how it looks on the gamecube.

My nephew has RE4 on Gamecube. The graphics look good to me. Some people say that the graphics on the GC are better than the graphics found on the PS2 version.

I beat New Super Mario Bros. on Monday. I think it's too short and a tad too simple. You would think that a game with 80 levels!!! Would take longer to beat....

Memorial Day weekend gave me a chance to divulge into my 360 a little more. i sold all my old xbox things and got some new 360 games with the store credit i obtained. Tiger Woods 06 - great game, graphics are stunning on the 360 and the gameplay is a tad more difficult with the buttons on top instead of bottom right. Burnout Revenge - Fun game, I was torn between this and Need For Speed. Basically I haven't unlocked much, and it's mostly crashing into things. Grraphics are nice, the lighting and crash damage graphics are what sets the game apart. Fifa 06 - Good things are the amazingly realistic looks of the players and their fluid motions, the bad thing is that it's soccer. Soccer sucks and I can't see much replayability in it. I'm gonna go trade it in for Blazing Angels this week. Ghost Recon is fun, kinda easy and short, but fun. Call of Duty 2 has been the bread and butter game for me other than Halo 2, it's the best title to play for me so far. I put down the money to buy NCAA 07 already so all i have to do is go pick it up when it comes out in a month or two. Can't wait for NCAA, i like the NCAA series alot better than the madden series. I'm looking forward to Gears of War, Prey, Lost Planet, and Assassins Creed.

Yeah, I downloaded the new free maps, but I don't think you can play them on single player, just muliplayer. I haven't played multiplayer for a long time because they had so many problems in the beginning.

So here we are. The PS3 releasing on Friday this week and the Wii releasing on Sunday. I'm starting to geek out here. I've got my Wii and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess paid for and will be picking mine up at midnight on Saturday.

I don't know if anyone else is excited, but just thought I'd bring this back up seeing as how they are both coming out this week.

Yep, there are only supposed to be around 400,000 for the japanese and american launch until the end of the year. Some EB games and Gamestops won't be getting more than a small handful of them even though they set up preorders for around 10.

I think I'm going to wait until the prices fall down to a more comfortable level...plus, it will give me time to read the various discussions among geeks as to which of the three major consoles is the best bang for their buck.

I should probably get a part-time gig and start saving up for one of them, though...

If anyone is interested in a recent USAToday article comparing the PS3 with the Wii, check it out here--that controller for the Wii sounds very cool

I'm with Donnie on this one...I'm going to wait for the prices to drop a bit and get all the bugs worked out before making a purchase.

I am leaning more towards the Wii... we are loyal Nintendo fans.

What games are you all playing right now? I was into Mortal Kombat Armageddon for a while, but right now all I really play is Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2.

I haven't played any console games for some time. The MK titles have always been my favorite. The DBZ games are similar so I like those as well.

Lately, I have been playing the colored versions of Pokemon on the Game Boy Advanced system.
