The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Great game and maybe the best Zelda game ever.

I'm totally happy with my Nintendo Wii. I've put a fair amount of time on Wii Sports, Zelda, and a downloaded virtual console game; Altered Beast. I had my sisters, cousins, neices and nephews, and even my mom playing it yesterday. Very fun with a ton of replay value.

My nephew is trying to find a Wii. It actually came out on his birthday. He has the money but he can't find the console.

P.S. since I edited this, it has no actual meaning. I'm sure more Wiis will be available over time though...if all else fails, suggest eBay to your nephew, Tony.

A little info if you guys hadn't heard. Amazon.com is supposed to be doing a 1000 unit sale of the base Xbox 360 model on Thursday at 11 AM Pacific time. The kicker is they will be 100 dollars. If you're able to get 1 of the thousand than well goodluck.

Got my monthly Nintendo Power magazine yesterday. Tons of reviews on new Wii games coming out, with a few great articles on the new Zelda game... I'm starting to get the bug for a Wii myself now...

I heard on Attack Of The Show today that Nintendo will be shipping out more Wii's every week and that more Wii's should be in stores this week before "Black Friday". That would mean that there should be more Wii's in stores on Wednesday or Thursday.

I finally bought the "The Legend of Zelda; the Wind Waker" the day after Thanksgiving... Yes I am a cheap bastard for waiting for the price to fall.... I have been engrossed with the damn game ever since! I had to quit playing it a couple of days ago because I lost feeling in my ring fingers and pinkies on both hands... (Possible carpal tunnel?) Very hard to turn wrenches this way...

when it comes to video games...I am such a cheap bastard anymore. Still rockin the PS2, can't afford the next gen of anything right now. I have also been rediculously addicted to NCAA Football and UFC Sudden Impact(really old game, got it used for $3.99).

All I have ever had was the Game Cube... I might get a Wii next year... The games are just too damn expensive to delve into other gaming systems.... Average game price for the Wii is $50.00! DAaAaAaAmn!!!!!

i'm waiting for one game to come out before i jump into another gaming console. I have an xbox right now and play halo 2 a bit, but when halo 3 comes out, i'll be looking for an xbox 360

I am currently playing Yoshi's Island DS on the DS and LOZ:Twlight Princess on the Gamecube. Sadly the Gamecube is nearly dead now. There are only a few games still scheduled for release on the 'Cube. None of them are anything special though.

What's Twilight Princess like? Is it worth the $50.00?

It's a fun game. There is a lot to do. You can catch different kinds of fish and keep track of them, you can look for golden insects, you can capture poes (Which are spirits I think.) You can play some fun mini games, You can learn new moves with your sword and shield, and you can play as a wolf which adds some extra variety to the game. According to my save file, I've played the game for a total of about 30 hours so far and I'm only at the beggining of the 4th dungeon.

I only paid $37.48 for the game. I would of gladly paid the full price though. In my opinion, you definetly get your money's worth.

On a side note, XPlay said this game is the best game of 2006! That's gotta count for somethin', too!

I beat Twilight Princess in about 40 hours, but I didn't collect everything. Now I'm going back to get everything completed. The story in my opinion is way better than Wind Waker. I couldn't stop playing it. Oh and I beat it on Wii....I don't know if that makes a difference.

I'm enjoying the hell out of wind waker though! I get pretty in depth with good games such as making maps and item lists... Must be that "paper pusher" gene I got from my Grandfather who retired from the Air Force as a Colonel..

I'm looking for everything right now which is why it's taking me so long to beat the game. I've never been able to go through a game without trying to find everything first. (Well almost never...) That's exactly why Yoshi's Island DS is taking me so damn long to beat! I think I only have about seven more levels to beat though. I should be done with that game by Friday.

As for the Wii version of Twilight Princess, the only real difference is that it's a mirrored version of the Gamecube version. Meaning east is west and west is east. The only reason Nintendo did that is because they wanted Link to hold the sword in his right hand since most people would play the game with the Wiimote in their right hand.

I guess the answer is no.

I have over a dozen Japanese games.

I think I can name them all from memory. The very first import game I bought was X-Men Vs Street Fighter for the Sega Saturn. That's the only good home version of the game. All we got in the U.S. was a crappy Playstation version.

Other imports I have for the Saturn are Marvel Super Heroes Vs Street Fighter. Again the only U.S. version was for Playstation. At least that version was a fairly decent port....but still not as good as the Saturn version.

I have a fighting game called Cyberbots which was never released here.

The last Saturn import is Marvel Super Heroes. I also have the U.S.
version but the Japanese version plays a little better and has an exclusive character.

Next there's the Super Nintendo.

4.Ganbare Goemon 3
5.Ganbare Goemon 4 (It doesn't actually have a 4 in the title but it is pretty much a sequel to the 3rd one.)

Rockman & Forte was released here in 2003 for Game Boy Advance under the name Mega Man & Bass.

I have 2 Genesis imports.

Sailor Moon and Rockman Megaworld. (Also known as Mega Man The Wily Wars.)

I have one Playstation import.

Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Battle 22. That came out here in 2003.

Last but not least I have one Neo Geo Pocket Color import.

Rockman Battle And Fighters, which is a collection of the two Mega Man arcade games.

I don't understand the imports, they've never really did anything for me. I think you have to be part Japanese or something to like them.
