I got a new game over the weekend not knowing if it was going to be any good... "Star Wars the complete Saga"... For the Wii... Surprisingly it is very good for a movie based on legos, of course I like games with puzzle challenges so this fits in really well...

You mean "Lego Star Wars".

I've always heard good things about the Lego Star Wars games. I've also heard that they're easy which kinda made me lose a little interest in the series.

Do you think the game is easy?

The difficulty gets harder as you progress in the game... And Lego star wars is the name of the original game... This is Star Wars the Complete Saga where they have all 6 movies done. and there were changes made from the original game on game play... I am told that there are bonus missions where they slipped in some of the original games...

I know. When I said "Lego Star Wars" I meant "Lego Star Wars the Complete Saga". I was just too lazy to type the whole name.

As for me, I'm still playing the same 3 Wii games. Earlier I won all of the first place trophies on Mario Kart Wii in the 150cc races. 150cc has some cheap ass A.I. Whenever I'm in first place, it's not uncommon for a blue shell to come flying my way, but when an A.I. racer is in first, I almost never see a blue shell fly at them. They seem to only like blowing my kart up.

I now have to do mirror mode...

Well when you do go back to Mario Kart Wii, let me know if the A.I. sets out to destroy you on the 150cc races.

Here are the top 10 games for "true gamers" according to X-Play.

10. Mega Man (NES) - I've beaten this game too many times to count.

9.Devil May Cry 3 (PS2) - Never played it

8.Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Multiple systems) - Never played it and since I'm not a huge fan of the FPS genre, I probably never will.

7.Super Ghouls and Ghosts (SNES) - I beat this game a few times. In order to truly "beat it" you must play through the game twice in a row.

6.Shinobi (PS2) - Never played it.

5.Donkey Kong (Arcade version) - This really doesn't belong on the list. It only has 4 levels! Who can't beat 4 levels?

4.Ikaruga (Multiple systems) - Never played it.

3.Battletoads (NES) - I haven't played this since I was a kid. I don't recall getting very far. I wonder how I would stack up today...

2.Contra (NES) - I've beaten this game many times over the years. At least one of those times was without dying. People keep saying this game is so hard that you have to use the infamous Konami code just to beat it. That's B.S.!!

1.Ninja Gaiden Sigma (PS3) - Never played this version or the two earlier versions on the original Xbox.

So, has anyone here played/beat any of these games?

Just Donkey Kong as a kid... I would like to get a game like Call to duty to try, though...

I meant to point this out sooner, but I kept forgetting.. There's a Call of Duty game on the Wii, Call of Duty 3. I don't know if you knew that. Also Call of Duty 5 'might' come out for the Wii.

On the topic of Wii, has anyone played Wii Fit yet? And if so, how is it?

Call of Duty 4 is a great game, but I don't take stock in X-Play's rating systems.

Here are the best 8 games of 2008...so far according to X-Play.

Grand Theft Auto IV (360 PS3) - Even though I keep hearing how great this game is, I have no interest in it.

God of War: Chains of Olympus (PSP) - I haven't played it yet.

No More Heroes (Wii) - This game kicks ass. The gameplay is great, it has a crazy sense of humor, and the boss battles are well done. A great Wii exclusive.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii) - I've had this game for almost 3 full months and I still play it everyday.

The World Ends With You (DS) - I'm gonna get this game this weekend.

Okami (Wii version) - This really shouldn't be on the list. It's just a port of the PS2 version which came out over a year and a half ago. This version doesn't even have any new content. It looks like a great game, but it still doesn't belong here.

Galactic Civilizations 2: Twilight of the Arnor (PC) - You couldn't pay me to play this.

Boom Blox (Wii) - I'd like to try this one someday.

At Toys R Us you can buy any 2 DS games and get a third DS game free. This sale is valid through Saturday.

An update on Mortal Kombat Vs DC, 2 more characters have been confirmed. The Flash and Sonya.

This makes 6 confirmed characters so far.

MK
Scorpion
Sub-Zero
Sonya

DC
Batman
Superman
Flash

There's also a chance that the Penguin is in as well.
