How clean do you keep the litter box? Have you changed litter types lately?

Yes it probably is a urinary infection. Baytrail is one of the medications that a vet will prescribe for a cat with a urinary infection.

My wife cleans the litter box about once every 2-3 days, so I hope that is enough.

If it were a urinary infection, wouldn't this kind of thing be uncontrollable though? it's like the cat just waits to do it untill she knows it'll make me the most angry.

Now THAT is the best idea I've heard all day!

Last night before bed we actually had to give her a batch because she had done this during the day and she smelled like pee. When we gave her a bath in the sink I think she hated us for it.

However, she really is still free to a good home (pre vet visit of course - if I have to pay for the damn cat to stick around she is not going anywhere)
