I hate to say this but I should have sold my Earnhardt Sr. diecasts right after his death. They were bringing 10 - 100 times the prices they are bringing today.

Before die cast I was HUGE into coins. Once my die cast is gone I will have to get back to work on filling my Lincoln Cent collection. The bad thing is the coins I need to finish it are freaking expensive even in the lower grades.

I've been searching bank rolls and have found two key dates so far, in fair condition. And I still have a bag of wheaties sitting on the desk that I haven't gone through yet....

Many years ago I found a 1909-S in VG - Fine condition in a wheat roll I bought for $2 at a garage sale.

That is my biggest cheap find.

Too bad it wasn't also a VDB.
