| Wanting new laptop for the Business.... I'm in the market for a new laptop computer for my business. But I see that all that are available are equipped with "Vista".... Has anyone had any dealings with this new operating software? Should I wait awhile until I buy? How many bugs are in this new system??? Pros.....? Cons.....?

 | Re: Wanting new laptop for the Business.... Yes, don't get Vista, ask specifically for XP, most (except Best Buy it seems) will install XP for you, but you have to demand it, and threaten to take your business to somebody that will install XP for you.

| Re: Wanting new laptop for the Business.... I wish you luck, I have heard no good things about Vista so far. I am sure it is a wonderful product and will end up being the next replacement. However I know I would request XP. I had a friend who bought a new laptop and one of the selling points was XP.

And it only asks you if you are sure you want to do this action if you are downloading a program, so I haven't found that annoying yet. And day four and no problems to be found. It just hums right along. On another note: I wanted to set it up so I could get my shop e-mails on it. But Vista doesn't support the old e-mail protocols. So I downloaded a program called "MSN mail beta" And it works great.
