Yes, they won, 27-20 in second overtime. (First second overtime game ever in Nebraska history).

2 mediocre teams playing bad football. hicks being injured made a big difference. the passing game for the skers looked better but against a team that has good d backs, that will jam receivers at the line, you won't see such good results.

I have to admit, I was impressed with the skers ability to move the ball with their passing attack. If ISU would have stuck some of the WR's at the line instead of playing so soft, it might have been a different game. Oh well - life goes on!

Well hell the game in Misery went like expected and OU needed 2 overtimes to beat Baylor so this weekends NU/OU game should be ineteresting don't ya think????

Ok I got one more other thing to say ..this time about pro football...this weekend s Queen/Packer game SUCKED...how in the hell can the Packers have a 17 point lead on the hapless Queens and then blow the f'ing lead and loose by a field goal in the last f'ing second?? DAMN I don't like when the Packers loose but to the QUEENS?? THAT SUCKS.. oh and to make matters worse I am sure we will have to listen to Todd gloat about this win by his Queens....;)

USC vs. Fresno State.
Alabama vs. Auburn

Now, does anybody have the guts to call an upset in the Fresno State/USC game? I sure as hell don't. Not after calling an upset three times already against USC to only be proved wrong every time. I've learned my lesson.

Also I just realized something, this thread started at the end of the NBA season and the NBA season started again last month. Wow, time flies.

Also, teamriot, your Maple Leafs are looking pretty mediocre. Are you catching any NHL this year? Do you have OLN? I think that's the ONLY Network besides the NHL Plan that shows hockey, isn't it? Anyway, your Maple Leafs are 11-7-2 and aren't doing so hot on the road, only .500 with a tie. I won't even talk about my Wild either, maybe they can win the Frozen Four this year.

Ouch, The Chargers huh? Yeah, I heard that earlier in the week. You never know though, the Bills might pull it off. My Giants should win, they play a T.O. and McNabbless Phili. If they DON'T win, they're finished. The Vikings loss last week was just a disgrace. THREE returns for touchdowns. (1 kick off, 1 punt, 1 interception).

Kansas State beat Missouri in the fourth quarter to take Snyder out with a win...damn he's an incredible coach. He has the same number of wins in 15 years then Kansas State had for 60 years previously, just crazy.

Penn State clinches the Big 10 title by beating Michigan State on the road.

USC gets a major scare against Fresno State...looking pretty weak, but we'll see. They won 50-42.

Ohio State beats Michigan in an Instant ESPN Classic, however, miss out on a tiebreaker for the Big 10 championship.

Miami is shocked by unranked Georgia Tech 14-10, out of the BCS title conversation.

That's all I can think about. Fantastic weekend in college football. Hope pro later today can match up...only if the Giants win.
