Being a Husker Fan(note:Fan not Freak) I'd Like The Huskers to Win. But MU is a Good Team, Then Again I was waaay wrong about CU-NU

i picked michigan but im gonna pull for the big red. going into the game i was really down on them, but part of that ( i realize now) is because we havnt seen this team play in about a month! i cant help but be impressed with the defence and i hope they can keep it close to the end. itll be a fun game, and thats all we can ask for. the 2nd half may be the best one of the bowls so far

It's halftime right now.So far,NU's defense is impressing me.Offense,is not.But the game is tied,and I'm still pulling for the 'Skers!!!!

How 'bout them Huskers??Granted,the refs sucked,but they did play a hell of a game for being 10 point dogs.

That last play was nuts though. lol That would have sucked if they scored while the huskers were rushing the field thinking they won.

all I was thinking when they were running down the field on the last play was "Great this is all we need to be remembered for!" Could you imagine watching that play if they scored??? It would be shown over and over again for years. Thank god 2 players remembered the rules.

i almost thought it would have been perfectly poetic to have them lose right at the end on that play...or maybe call offsetting penalities and re-down or something. anyway im one of those fans who didnt give up on the program particularily, but decided they had something to prove to me. so while im not ready to say order restored or 'were back' but im very happy for the players and i think last night was a well managed game by callahan. timeouts when it mattered NU-3 UM-0.

anyway im really happy FOR the team, which usually id be happy as a fan. two big wins dont erase that bad 5 game stretch...but im more optimistic. i like the direction. it was fun to watch the huskers be underdogs and steal momentum and really beat a better team. bad calls, crazy replays, and what a finish....one of my fav bowl games in 10 years

I know it's all over ESPN this morning.And yes,thank someone those guys kept their heads in the game and finished the play.And according to them,if it would have been off-setting penalties,the game wouldve been over anyways.But,if the penalty was just on NU,they would've redone the down.

What a game I always have been and always will cheer for the huskers but I had my doubts about the game and this gives me some hope for the future. Can you imagine if they would have scored on that last play.

I'll take the huskers to win the alamo bowl by about 4. Say with a good passing game they might win....oh lets say........32-28. That's my prediction. Tell me how I do.

Damn Riot You must be psycic or something.

I Would Have Flipped out if MU would have scored on that last play, after the Blackshirts played good throughout the game to have it come down to a last ditch play like that would have been an insult to the players.

he was probably one of the people who ran onto the field durign the last play. LOL He's actually the one who made the game saving tackle....just so he didn't slip into mediocrity.

im happy for the team andthe program, but thats a great point. maybe now till next fall there will be a false sence of security. i liked thinking callahan was fighting to keep his job. makes people work damn hard. a radio guy said the other day that he just bought himself 3 more years....for winning a bowl game?

id like to think the program and pedersen arent content yet...maybe that stretch from 92-01 is over, but we arent even the best team in the big xii north...we have a way to go and a bsc game next year may still be out of touch

Being ranked in the preseason? Not out of reach. Going to a BCS bowl,weeeellllll that is kind of a stretch.Lets take it one step at a time.I'm happy they are moving forward and getting better.
