Did anyone watch this game? This was probably the best game I've seen in a long time. I almost went bed when Texas was down by 12, but decided to stay since the Huskers were able to make 4 th quarter comeback. Glad I did cuz WOW!! What a finish! Vince Young is the man, I hope he leaves because the Huskers play them next year.

i thought it was such a disappointing game in the first half. both teams were sloppy, and i think the only high light of the first half was either the defencive play or lendale white. at half time i was really getting sick of the sloppy offencive play from both teams.

then in the second half both teams moved down the field with the flash we expected. at the begining of the 3rd, texas took 2 mins to go the length of the field with vince young running for the last few yards going over the right edge of the end zone. then with 2:00 mins to go, young took them down the field and scored over the right side of the endzone....hmmm

the 2nd half was incredible, but i think it took awhile to get going. im very happy to see texas win, good for them. it was exciting and turned out to be what we all wanted to see. but this wasnt the game of the year or anything, because it was only quality for a half. but were all going to remember how amazing young was, and the final 6 mins, and think the whole game was amazing.

I personally thought it was a great game and I think it will go down as one of the classics, probably the only time I will ever cheer for Texas.

that first half was so sloppy...both teams making ill advised pitches, usc going 4 and out (unheard of)....it was just a slow start, thats all. the second half was classic, not the whole game

Good teams force mistakes like that from their opponents, 4 and out shows they are human and makes all the sportscenter people look like asses for the last week saying they are the greatest team ever and nobody can beat them.

I didn't watch that much of the first half, just like the end of the 2nd quarter, but I didn't find it that disappointing. I don't mind seeing some great defensive play once in a while. The INT by Texas to stop USC from scoring was classic. As was the Reggie Bush fumble (heehee). It did take Texas offense a while to get the ball moving, but I think it was far from disappointing like shutterbug said it shows some human error. Neither of these teams faced an easy road to get to this game.

ok ok, im comparing it to the hype. the first quarter was very slow. i know defence is just as entertaining but neither defence was just dominating the opponet, it looked like a lot of error. a fumble here, a bad pitch there...those are errors, therefore, take away from the game. an interception is a mistake and someone capitalizing....theres a difference. anyway, im agreeing its a great game, but just started slow. few moments in the first half, and the entire second half. with the guns in this game, it didnt match the hype till later in the game

Take away from the game??????? It only takes a bad pitch here,a dropped ball there to lose a game,obviously. That is what makes it dynamic.They are all kids out there playing the game. Nobody knows what will happen.

you guys are missing the point, look at the HYPE. we all expected a shoot out and it didnt happen till the 2nd half, with 2 min drives and big plays. that was what we expected. thats why the over under was like 90. at the half we hadnt seen much of that yet. again, im comparing it to the hype.

I don't think it was anymore hyped than any other national championship game. Look at last year's game. Now that was a complete and utter disappointment, I couldn't even watch the whole game.

I guess the media got to you with USC being the greatest team ever. Well, I felt Texas had a chance all along that is why watched to the very end.

i PICKED texas...haha im not saying my personal hype, im saying the hype on tv. i dont create hype, i was referring to...

screw it. but i just dont think it was th greatest game ever or even the greatest game of the year

You said the over/under being 90? Well I'm sorry if it came up short,but that is why you watch a full game.This isn't Pro Wrestling,where everything is scripted. To me it was a helluva game. Teams got the feel for each other the first half, then the changes cames. That is what college football is all about.

It was a good game. It could have gone either way. I'm not a fan of any one team just a fan of football. I was pulling for both teams to win and the best team that night won.
