| 2006 NFL Draft For any and all NFL fans who have been following the draft... A QUICK RECAP: For those who didn't hear or see, Mario Williams (DE from NC State) went as the first pick to the Houston Texans, USC RB Reggie Bush went No. 2 to the New Orleans Saints, and Texas QB Vincent Young went as the third pick to the Tennessee Titans. Notable addition, USC QB Matt Leinhart went No. 10 to the Arizona Cardinals. THE KC CHIEFS: I don't know if I completely agree with Kansas City picking Tamba Hali (a DE from Penn St.) with their first round (No. 20) pick, but I will reserve judgement for now. However, I would have had my eyes on CB Jonathan Joseph from South Carolina (went to the Bengals) or WR Santonio Holmes from "the" Ohio St. (new addition to the Steelers' offensive arsenal)...or WR Chad Jackson or CB Jimmy Williams. Basically, I thought the holes at CB and WR were glaring, more so than a reliable DE (psst...the Chiefs were *okay* with run defense last year, but they *sucked* at pass defense...) Comments, questions, etc. about the 2006 draft (I'm curious to see what others are thinking):

| Re: 2006 NFL Draft The thing I noticed most was the teams were more interested in defense this year than offense.
