Casey Mears to the #5 team with Jr. and Tony Jr. to the 25 team with a new number yet to be announced.

I also found this at jayski, and even I can say this is reaching a bit too far. But I guess stranger things have happened, just ask Michigan Fan.

As a driver in the NASCAR Nextel Cup series, I would expect the car to be built right.
Making sure it is built right is the Crew Chiefs job.

To double check everything would take forever. No driver has that kind of time especially with sponsor obligations on race weekend.

Those wing brackets where 100% the crew chiefs fault.

As far as the engines go, if that was my company somebody would be looking for a new job.

A driver doesn't have the time???????????? If I had to drive a car at 180 MPH for 4 hours. and have to rely on the engine, I'd frickin make time.

Your saying the driver should be the one to go over the final punch list that normally takes the crew chief and crew members an entire day to do?

It just doesn't work that way.
