I know he gets to keep the (asterisked) win, suffer point reduction, yadda yadda But how does this particular twist affect the betting? I didn't bet, so I hardly qualify to care, but it was an interesting story nonetheless on ESPN earlier...

At least that is how it worked at MGM Grand two years ago when I was there.  I lost my ass that day.  And both the day before and the day after that.
