| Administrator ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 01-05-2001 Thursday 1-06-00 Todd and Tyler started off this mornings show by talking about an Omaha/Council Bluffs rap group called Noise WavE. They wrote a song about killing cops and specifically mentioned Jimmy Wilson Jr. Jim Minge, the scourge of modern journalism, wrote an article about the group. TnT came to find out that the group was a bunch of 20-something white guys from Council Bluffs. One had even been the on the student council while in high school. In fact, the names of two of the rappers (brothers) are Luke and Zack. So, of course, we all know the group is a bunch of hard mfs. After joking about the group and giving them a deservedly hard time for the stupid move they made writing a song like that, one of the guys had the nerve to call in. I cant remember his rapper name but it was something along the lines of Aropak which, I believe, means that hes a wizard of black magic. Yea, I know
I dont get it either. Anyway, the guys ragged on him for a while and got him to admit that the whole thing was just a publicity stunt they did for money and fame. The guys spent a majority of todays show discussing relationship issues. The conversation started off with some talk about strange places people meet people. The two that stick out in my mind was a guy met a woman at a baseball game (the woman just happened to be the mother of one of the boys the man was coaching) and one male caller said he likes to meet women at day care centers. Several women checked in on that one and said the last place they want to have to worry about getting snaked on is when theyre picking up their kids after work. From there, the discussion morphed into talk about how men decide within 10 seconds of meeting a woman whether or not hed like to do her. They tried to explain the phenomenon and decided that it must be in our genes. They also talked with a few women who admitted that ladies do the same sort of summing up of men when they first meet someone new as well. Again, the relationship topic morphed into something else. In its final transformation, the guys started talking about the idea of having a list of famous people youd like to do. You may recall this being in an episode of Friends a few years back. The guys had talked about the subject before but continued with it today because they received an excellent phone response from the listeners. As always, Todd and Tyler put their own twist on the discussion. Not only did they ask men and women to check in with their lists, but they also wanted them to guess the list of their significant others. Every couple who partook in the discussion seemed to be well natured about it. Most of them, it seemed, had already discussed such things before. From there, TnT asked men what their gay top 3 list would be. All of the men who were willing to play along tried to emphasize that they werent gay. It was rather amusing. In fact, the closest the guys got to a real gay top 3 list came from Donnie. For a final twist on the subject, Todd and Tyler started asking their listeners to give a list of 3 people in their lives that theyd like to nail and see if their significant others could name them. **Gasp** TnT knew it was a bad idea for couples to talk about such things but hey, they wanted to entertain the audience and having a couple start verbally duking it out over the air after the wife finds out her husband wants to bang away on her best friend is definitely entertaining! Unfortunately, Donnie and Caller 9 were the only ones willing to produce a list. All of the listeners who were asked seemed to know better. It was a great topic and might be brought up again tomorrow so make sure to tune in early. Feature act John Riep from the Funny Bone came in studio this morning and hung out for a while. This is his first time in Omaha and he was quite pleased being in an actual city. You see, John comes from a small town in the South so Omaha is a virtual Metropolis to him. Anyway, John didnt get to talk too much today because the people you want to have sex with list discussion brought on so many calls. He may end up joining the headliner on the TnT show tomorrow but who knows. Well, thats the update for today. Check back here tomorrow for the all-important Friday version. Thanks for watching. Goodnight. the Alien Guy-
