| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 10-05-1999 Tuesday 10-5-99 Todd and Tyler spent some time this morning discussing more Public Pulse letters in the World Herald. Within the past few weeks, there has been quite a bit of TnT talk in the paper. Some people love the guys while others hate them. Its become sort of a daily topic lately as TnT talk about the newest printed letters of the morning. Also a part of the topic about the TnT show and its content, the guys tried to get a hold of Lisa Volinecs mother to find out if she understood some of the terms TnT used to lessen the harshness of their show. They werent able to get a hold of her, however. They may try again tomorrow. TnT played an audio clip of a tour of Ermas box this morning. It was very funny but the mental picture it gave me nearly caused me to vomit. If you missed the sound clip, all I have to say is that Erma guided the tour of her box from the inside. Yep, thats the same visual I had too. Thanks Donnie. With the discussion about TnT show terminology, the guys began to discuss twisting one off. It came about after a 14-year-old guy checked in and said that he loves the TnT show. The guys said that was about the age in which they started choking Otis and joked with the caller about it. After the call, they started discussing their views on twisting off and age. In order to get the perspective of an older guy, they decided to call Tylers dad and find out if he still did it. When they got a hold of Ed, he informed them that he hasnt in years. He said that after hed gotten married, he just didnt do it. Whether or not he quit out of guilt or if it had just become unnecessary for him wasnt made completely clear but the fact that he hasnt done it in a long time was. The talk of age, sex and choking Otis brought in a flood of phone calls form people wanting to share their views and stories. There were several men in there 60s who told TnT they still had sex and twisted one off frequently. Others wanted to share stories about dirty old men theyd had encounters with in their lives. By far the funniest (and most bizarre) story of the day came from a lady who told TnT about her Dirty Uncle Harry. She said he wasnt really an uncle, more of a distant cousin by marriage thatd come visit once in a while. He used to make the caller and her sisters sit on his lap and give him kisses. When they complied with the dirty old guy, hed slip them the tongue. The caller said that when she was about 25 years old, she sat on his lap during one of the funky greeting sessions and the old guys throck was hard at work being throck-like. It was at that point that she and her sisters stopped greeting him so pleasantly. She said when the old guy died, they werent left any of the jewels hed worn around all his life. It was a very funny story. There were quite a few other calls on dirty old men but that one was, by far, the most entertaining. Dirty Uncle Harry is now a TnT show legend. TnTs comedian friend Carl Banks called in this morning to talk to TnT. Its been quite a while sense Carl checked in with the guys. It was nice to hear from him. He talked with Todd and Tyler about some of the recent TV things hes been doing including an appearance as on tomorrow nights Drew Carey show. He joked around about working with Bret Butler (Grace Under Fire) and her drug problems. Carl also elaborated on Melissa Jone Heart, the little hottie who plays Sabrina the Teenaged Witch, and what it was like to work with her on that show. Carl mentioned that hed be back in town some time in December at the Funny Bone. Stay tuned to hear more about that. Towards the end of the show Gene from the Brass Grille (1207 Harney) came in. During his visit, TnT got a call from a student in New York who listens to them on the web. He heard Genes accent and it prompted him to call in. Well, thats about all for the update today. Check back here tomorrow to get caught up on the TnT show again. Thanks for watching. Goodnight. the Alien Guy- PS Apologies for no update yesterday but I had a funeral to attend in the morning and I missed the show. Im sure the countless millions who read my updates every day were greatly disappointed but luckily I heard nothing of an increase in suicides yesterday due to it. |
