Monday 10-11-99

Todd and Tyler started of this morning’s show talking about their weekends. Todd went to the Chicago area and hung out with some rich friends. They also attended the Notre Dame game. Tyler spent the weekend hanging out with some of his old PA buddies and his father. They took the Chub down to Lincoln on Saturday for the Husker game. Surprisingly, the Chub made it there and back without any problems. They also spent some time talking about the upcoming Todd and Tyler CD. Donnie’s done a majority of the work on the CD so far and now it’s up to the legal people to do their thing. TnT aren’t exactly sure when it will be released in stores but hope to have it made available within the next month or two. They gave us a few hints as to what would be on the CD but didn’t detail the entire collection of goodies.

The guys tried to talk about infidelity for a bit today. They were curious if women are more likely to put up with cheating men if their man happens to make quite a bit of money. Todd seemed to be under the impression that women would. They attempted to bring the listeners into the conversation throughout the show but didn’t have much luck. There wasn’t much response at all on the topic. Surprise. People don’t want to admit they cheat or that it’s okay for their loved one to cheat. The guys may bring up the topic again down the road so be prepared to share your stories.

There was, of course, lots of Husker talk this morning. It was pretty much the same sort of Husker talk that always goes on. I could write pages on TnT’s Husker talk this morning but it would just be a huge redundancy of all the Husker talk TnT have done over the past 4 years. Besides, unless someone’s quitting the team, the coach is retiring (or gets a speeding ticket), players are stealing Play Stations, beating up women or fondling 14-year-olds, the Huskers are really boring.

TnT spent a little time today talking about this year’s Freakers Ball. It’s going to take place on Friday, October 29th at the Amerisports Bar. Cheshire Grin, D’vine and 3D will be playing the event. You can buy tickets at the Amerisports Bar or at the radio station for $9.92. I’d strongly suggest you buy your tickets right away. These tickets will sell out very very fast.

Tonight is another installment of Monday Night Football at Hooters. Join TnT and their gang of merry men as they watch the game, enjoy declining beer prices, take part in another Finger Flicking Field Goal competition and basically party the game away. The guys will be giving out a TV to the winner of the FFFG competition so stop on out, it should be quite fun.
