| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 10-12-1999 Tuesday 10-12-99 TnT started their show off this morning talking about a videotape that was sent to them in the mail. Without being too graphic, the tape was of a woman who said she takes it in the face for TnT and then proceeded to do just that. The guys really seemed to enjoy receiving the amateur tape but they were bummed out that the girl in the video wasnt nude. After discussing the tape for a while, they pulled out the old sound effect for the giant tick and started playing it. It was quite funny. TnT got on a great topic today. They were discussing a VH1 TV show called The List. The show was about some famous people sitting around discussing who they thought the most attractive people in music are. TnT spun the idea into their show and opened the phone lines to listeners. They wanted men and women to comment on the most attractive men and women in music. They also asked for people to talk about the fattest man in music that they found attractive. They must have taken hundreds of calls with hundreds of references to rock stars we havent heard of in years. It was great. They also played the tick sound effect after almost every call asking the callers if theyd take it in the face for them too. It was very funny but a little disturbing when some of the male caller started getting too into it. The conversation lasted throughout the entire show and didnt seem to slow down even when TnT were trying to finish the day up. The same topic may come up again tomorrow but if it doesnt, I can assure you that the tick sound effect will reemerge again. Coach Mike Hastings from the Omaha Lancers came in today and hung out for a while. He talked Lancer hockey with TnT and discussed some issues about the team this season. They also spent some time talking about different rink sizes around the league and the benefits and drawbacks of some of those places. He stayed through the Johnny Van Zant interview but didnt do much talking afterwards because the show ended. TnT spoke with Johnny Van Zant of Lynyrd Skynyrd today. They talked about being on the road, their tour with ZZ Top, the upcoming concert in Omaha and many other Skynyrd-related topics. They touched on how Johnny keeps his voice ready for shows and brought up a few things from their last chat (the album he did with his brother as an example). As always, it was a pretty cool interview. I believe the concert is sometime in mid November. Call the Rock Line for further information. Thats 592-ROCK, 592-ROCK. Well, thats all I have for todays update. Thanks for watching. Goodnight. the Alien Guy- |
