Theresa Cassidy from the Kids Club came in studio today and read the news for Lisa Volinec. She talked with TnT about Poké Mon cards/cartoons and some of the other child-related things that seem to be big these days. They also talked about Theresa’s new children’s CD. It’s called “I Wish I Was A Fish”. It’s full of a bunch of kid’s songs that she sang and TnT played clips of them throughout the show. They joked with her about the title of the CD and twisted it many times into more adult sounding names. It was very funny. TnT also called Theresa’s boyfriend at work. He’s a prison guard in Lincoln so that gave Todd and Tyler the perfect chance to talk about prison stuff. “Prison Boy”, as he was referred to as, told TnT about some of the things that go on in jail and helped them elaborate on some prison terms. (The prison terms were also carried over to a later portion of the show and discussed with the comedian and band that stopped in later).

Larry the Cable Guy called in this morning and gave a commentary on Monica Lewinsky’s dad and how he’s mad that a TV show is using the term “Lewinsky” as an alternative to “oral sex”. It was a pretty funny commentary. Rather refreshing to hear something that wasn’t about fecal matter or Oprah come out of Larry.

TnT read another installment of the Saunders County Dispatch Report this morning. The report was full of the typical boring things that we’ve come to expect from that town. Thankfully, we had TnT to interpret the reports in a comical way. Today’s reenactment was of Donnie’s police chief character shooting a duck. He also made a reference to the Schnable guy who finally admitted to killing his wife.

Travis’s Lock of the Week is Purdue over Michigan State. His box of the week is Winona Ryder. Travis has seemed to run out of Boxes so he picked her. Hopefully he’ll come up with something a little better for next week’s skank report.

TnT got a hold of a list of the top 10 athletes of the century and went over it on the air this morning. They debated who should be at the top and the positioning of some of the others as well. They ranted for a while about the fact that there were a few horses on the top 100 list. They also discussed whether or not women should be on the list because, in Travis’s opinion, men are better athletes.

Rocky LaPorte from the Funny Bone came in again this morning and hung out with TnT for a few hours. He was very funny but his appearance on TnT’s show doesn’t do his comedy act justice. I’d strongly suggest that you go see him and the other comics out at the Funny Bone this weekend. Call the Bone Phone at 493-8036 for reservations. You won’t be disappointed.

5 Story Fall stopped in to play some live music for TnT. They performed two original tunes and sounded really great. The band is going to be playing at the 1987 (Ranch Bowl) tonight so if you’re in that area, feel free to stop on out to see the show.

Tonight, join Todd and Tyler at the Edge of Darkness on 60th & Grover. They will be at the Z-92 sponsored haunted house at around 9pm. I think I’m going to be out there for a while so if you are in the area and spot a guy who looks like the bastard love child of Barney Rubble and a Keelber Elf, say “hi”…that’ll be me.
