| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 10-18-1999 Monday 10-18-99 Todd and Tyler started their show off this morning by introducing us to Jenny. Jenny was auditioning for the news spot and spent the morning with TnT. She seemed a bit nervous at first but did a fine job nonetheless. She really didnt chatter with TnT a whole lot but that may have been because she really doesnt know them yet. I suppose, if Jenny gets the gig, it will take a little time before shell have a good "rap" with TnT as Lisa does now. Leave it to Rumpy to check in with the obligatory Whats Jenny look like? call. We werent given an answer on that question so well have to find out for ourselves in time. Im not sure when well hear from Jenny again but TnT will keep us posted. TnT spent some time joking about the release of WWF stocks to the public. It was supposed to happen today but the guys found out later in the show that the stocks wouldnt go public until later in the week. They took some calls on the WWF stocks including one from a broker who gave them some details. They arranged for the purchase of one of the stocks when it is put up for sale. They were going to have Donnie buy the stock but they were fearful that the plaintiff would take 62.5% of its value. They also spoke to their first intelligent wrestling fan this morning. The caller said that he believed the reason the WWF is going public as a stock is because the owners are looking to have the fans pay whatever settlement is necessary from the Owen Hart death case. Jeremy came in studio today and told TnT about getting searched at Epley on his way to Phoenix last week. He said an undercover agent looking for large sums of money searched him. Jeremy only had $80 on him and wasnt carrying anything illegal so they let him go. He thought they had stopped him because he was the only young guy with long hair on a plane full of old people. TnT then took some calls from listeners sharing their airport search stories. There were tales of money being taken for no reason and the guys even had a former security guy from the airport check in to explain some things to them. After a while, the callers twisted the conversation into stories about being pulled over in cars and being searched. There werent really any outstanding calls on any of the subjects but it was an interesting topic anyway. TnT put in a call to Jim Minge today to find out some details about their lawsuit. Minge reported on Saturday that TnT have a court date (as plaintiffs!) but their lawyers or management had told neither Todd nor Tyler. They figured theyd go straight to the source for the info. They only spoke briefly but did have enough time to find out from Jim why he didnt print the name of the guy theyre taking to court. Jim said hes tried on a few occasions to print his name but it keeps getting taken out by the WH editor. TnT then talked to their lawyer friend Michael to find out details on the legality of giving the guys name out over the air or announcing the date, time and location of the court hearing. Todd and Tyler will be at Hooters tonight for another installment of Monday Night Football. The Giants are taking on the Cowboys and the festivities begin just before 7pm. Stop on out to enjoy great food, declining beer prices and your chance to win a TV from NFM by taking part in another Finger Flicking Field Goal competition. It should be a lot of fun. The guys hope to see you out there. Well, thats all Ive got written down for the update today. TnT will be talking to Ted Nugent tomorrow. Check back here for the wacky Tuesday version. Thanks for watching. Goodnight. the Alien Guy- |
