TnT started off their show talking about last night’s Monday Night Football game. They were quite pleased that the Dallas Cowboys had lost. Todd also ranted about how none of the so-called Cowboy fans he’d talked to had ever seen the team play in person. That, of course, caused him to bash them because they weren’t true fans according to his criteria. They also welcomed Lisa Volinec back to the news chair this morning. They talked briefly about her trip to Phoenix and the Springstein concert she attended. TnT also made reference to a video clip someone e-mailed them with an Irma-like old lady getting taken care of. They all agreed it was a pretty nasty visual but joked about her saggy ass all morning anyway.

Todd and Tyler spoke with JP Cruise today regarding a juggling situation that happened to her recently. She started telling the story about a juggler that she is and seeing for almost a year. She didn’t find out he was a juggler until Sunday morning. The short version of the story is as follows. She dated this guy for about a year. He gave her an engagement ring but she turned it down because she’s not ready for that yet. She’s just getting over a divorce, after all. Well, on Sunday the guy came over to her place. He didn’t stay long and it kind of upset JP. Later that morning, she called over to his place and a kid answered. JP talked to the kid and found out that the child was the son of another girl her boyfriend was knocking it out with. She confronted him about it and he wouldn’t say anything. Through some odd convoluted twist of fait, JP and her boyfriend’s other girlfriend ended up standing in a driveway somewhere talking to each other about the boyfriend. I may be leaving out some details but I think you get the picture.

JP spoke to TnT about it on the phone very early in the show. She didn’t get to finish the tale right away because the guy she was telling the story about showed up at her place about 2 minutes into her first call. She hung up and said she’d call back. TnT tried to give her a call back but the line was busy. That freaked TnT and Donnie out. They wanted to make sure their friend was okay. Donnie went to work on the phones to see if he could get JP’s home address so he could go check on her. He seemed vigilant in his efforts. Shortly after, however, JP called back and said she was fine. At that time, she finished the story. Even later in the show, JP came in studio and elaborated on the topic some more.

TnT talked quite a bit about JP’s situation and also wanted to open the phone lines for other juggler stories. They tried to get listeners to respond but didn’t seem to have much luck. There were a few calls on the topic but for the most part, it didn’t take off. I guess no men out there want to admit to juggling two women at once. And sense the topic didn’t take off with callers sharing their own stories, TnT just focused on JP’s story for the rest of the show. In the end, JP seemed happy to be rid of him because she doesn’t need a cheater in her life. TnT wished her well and I’m sure they’ll continue watching out for her just like they did so well this morning.

TnT’s comedy friend Vilmoshe checked in from the road this morning. He’s travelling all over the country by car and was so bored of driving that he thought he’d call up and talk to Donnie for a bit. Well, Donnie put him on the air. Vilmoshe didn’t have much to say but did try to relate a juggling story into the conversation.

Penny Beaver from the Cystic Fibrosis benefit came in studio this morning. She brought a few other people with her but I didn’t catch their names. Anyway, they were there to promote the Todd and Tyler hosted event taking place on Friday night. From 6 to 7pm there will be food and drinks, from 7 to 8pm there will be the funky date thing and presenting of the meat. Unlike previous years, I guess they’re not doing a bachelor/bacheloreete auction. As a matter of fact, they’re not even calling them that any longer. They’re now being dubbed “Single Honorees”. Well, they discussed the event a little more and then provided a phone number for further info. If you’d like such info, call 330-6164.

TnT had a conversation with Emmy Award winner John Daily this morning. John is the host of Real TV, which airs on Channel 7 here at 11am every weekday. They talked to him about the show, where they get videos and how they decide what to air. TnT also asked John about some of the strangest videos he’d ever seen. John said he’s seen hundreds of clips but some of the worst were execution videos from other countries. John was surprisingly funny throughout the interview and TnT seemed to enjoy talking to the guy. TnT finished up today’s show with a Ted Nugent interview. They talked about his false retirement about a year ago, the band he’s working with now and the possibility of him teaming up with a few other legends including Sammy Hagar for a possible album. They talked about Africa and some of the animals Ted kills while there. TnT also told Ted about the concert trip Z-92 is giving away to see Ted, Metallica and Kid Rock on New Years Eve. Ted seemed quite excited about that. It was a great interview as it always is with the energetic and, frankly, whacked out Ted Nugent.
