The first hour or so of this morning’s Todd and Tyler show was much like most shows. They talked about things that had happened over night, discussed the news that Lisa read and then spent some time talking about some things that became the topics of today’s show. They also went over a Glamour magazine quiz that was all about Throck. Lisa wouldn’t take the quiz so she read it instead. TnT had to settle for a female listener to take the quiz. It was pretty funny and in the end we found out that girth is more important than length.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in after taking about a week off to go to Vegas for a rodeo. TnT both thought Larry’s lack of phone calls last week had something to do with the Husker loss but that turned out not to be the case. Anyway, Larry’s commentary this morning was on fat guys with earrings. He ranted about how big, fat guys think they gain some sex appeal just for jabbing a stud in their ear. It was pretty funny and quite nice to hear from Larry again.

Dr. Ed came in studio for a couple of hours today. He made the announcement that he and his wife are now expecting their 3rd child. Congratulations Dr. Ed and Mrs. Dr. Ed! He hung out and answered tons of questions from listeners and the hosts. I can’t detail all of the calls but if you’ve ever heard Dr. Ed on the show before, today’s visit was much the same. Dr. Ed will be back on the Todd and Tyler show in a few weeks so keep your medical questions in mind for his next visit.

A discussion about “lipping off” was somehow brought up this morning and it became the main topic of the show. TnT took tons of calls from people who wanted to share stories about lipping off to police officers and judges. There were stories about traffic stops, court appearances and one about a girl who was beat up at a Montley Crue concert years ago. In my opinion, the best call of the day was from a guy who was arrested for not putting down an ice cream cone in the Old Market. As he explained it, an ex-girlfriend of his stuck two police officers on him in the Old Market because he was too close to her. He tried to explain the situation to the officers but they weren’t interested in hearing it. They demanded he put down the ice cream stick but the caller wouldn’t. The story then turned into tickets and court appearances all over an ice cream stick. I’m sure that a story or two from this morning’s show will end up on the Best Of replay on Saturday so if you missed it this morning, tune in over the weekend.
