The guys started off their show by mentioning the concerts that took place last night. They didn’t go to any of them but Donnie did so he gave a brief review of the disturbing behavior of drunken rednecks on ice. Then they discussed the Poké Mon phenomenon and how it’s sweeping the nation taking over the minds of children. TnT don’t get the whole thing and I suppose I don’t either. They took a few calls from parents who tried to help explain the card game to the guys but Todd and Tyler really weren’t that interested in learning. They were happy just stating that they don’t get it.

TnT spent some more time discussing the Melissa Ethridge and ZZ Top/Lynyrd Skynyrd concerts last night. They asked for heterosexual people who went to the Ethridge show to call up and give their impression of it. Then they asked for gay people to check in who might have gone to the Skynyrd show. It wasn’t until much later in the show that they actually got calls. A few straight guys checked in who were at the Ethridge show and all of them seemed to enjoy it. There were also some lesbians who checked in to say how much they dug the show. Evidently, there were no gay men at the Top/Skynyrd show.

Pool Boy Rob stopped in for a bit today and played a few cover songs for TnT. There was some discussion on how the band got the name. Tyler thought it was a play on words from the sandwich poor boy rob (or something). The band said it was actually the name of a character in a porno movie. After hearing that, TnT knew the band was cool and let them play. They did a Michael Jackson song and made it sound pretty rocking. They also covered Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline” and it sounded great as well. Poor Boy Rob will be playing at the 1987 on Sunday so if you’re out and about, drop in to see them.

Dr. Ed made another appearance on the show this morning. The Doc announced that he and his wife found out the sex that their new baby and it is going to be a boy. Surprisingly, TnT listeners actually had great questions for the doc today. Dr. Ed stayed around for a couple of hours to discuss kidney stones, triathlons, ball-safe bicycle seats, mountain climbing, pee and many other topics brought up by callers and the hosts. There’s always too much going on during a Dr. Ed visit to detail everything but today’s visit was much like any other you’ve heard in the past. Dr. Ed will be back on the show in the beginning of December so stay tuned.

A new character made his debut on the show today. Todd and Tyler got a new musical director. This one is named Munch Downe. He was obviously flaming, played the keyboard quite horribly and had no talent to speak of at all. It was a very funny character. By the end of the show, the new musical director had quit the show to go make out with a fat former news check or something.

Acoustic Grove will be in studio playing some live music for TnT tomorrow. The guys will also be joined by Jabber Gold from the Funny Bone.

Well, that’s all I’ve got for today. The Ethridge lesbians and Dr. Ed took up much of today’s show time so the update looks a little thin. Hopefully I’ll have more material for you to read about tomorrow. See you then. Thanks for watching. Goodnight. –the Alien Guy-
