TnT started off their show discussing sexual fetishes. Tyler brought in the most recent issue of “Stuff” and read from a list of Latin named sexual fetishes. He then quizzed Todd to see if he could tell which fetish was which just from hearing the Latin name. While reading the list, they described and discussed each of the fetishes in an attempt to pick out the ones that they have. There were 3 or 4 that they admitted to. One was that they occasionally find statues/mannequins sexy, another was that they get off on telling others of their sexual conquests and there were a few more as well. It wasn’t so much that the list was full of odd fetishes (which it was), it was the fact that there were enough people who liked to sting their nads with bees and play in pooh to give the fetish a scientific name. That’s what really seemed to blow TnT’s mind. They opened the phones to any listener who wanted to admit they had any of the fetishes but didn’t get much of a response during the early hours of the show.

Lisa was a bit late this morning. She didn’t make it in until 7am because she’d set her alarm for 4pm instead of 4am. She was very apologetic for being late but TnT weren’t upset; they just joked with her about it. Also relating to news people, TnT spoke to Michael Scott briefly this morning. They found out that Michael has a new TV gig. He’ll be working in Dallas at the NBC station (or possibly ABC.I didn’t pay that close attention). Anyway, he may let TnT throw him a going away party next week.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning and gave a commentary on Jessie Jackson and the racial situation our country is in today. It was rather humorous.

Acoustic Grove came in this morning and played a few tunes for TnT. The band broke up a while ago but couldn’t stay away from each other for long. They did a couple of songs and really sounded great. Two things bugged me about their visit, however. Maybe it’s not my place to say but then again, no one really reads this crap anyway. First off, Acoustic Grove is playing with another band at Past Times this weekend. They plugged the other band knowing that certain member of that band has become too holy for the TnT show and won’t participate anymore. Afterwards, the guy who plugged the other band tried to justify plugging that band and their lame ass funky white keyboard player. Secondly, one of the guys in the band has a very annoying phony laugh that he felt the need to overuse during their visit to the show today. Other than those two things, the band sounded great! Stop on out to Past Times for the first half of the show. After Acoustic Grove has finished their set, feel free to go elsewhere.

Jabber Gold from the Funny Bone stopped by for a little bit today. He hung out for a while but had to go to work so his visit wasn’t very long. TnT asked Jabber about how he got his name so Jabber detailed the story. They also discussed the sexual fetishes with Jabber. They basically wanted to confirm with Jabber, a black man, that white people are much crazier when it comes to sex and fetishes than black men are. Jabber agreed.

TnT spoke with Colorado Buffalo head coach Gary Burnett. They discussed his former coaching jobs and talked about the situation his team is in for this season. Gary was pretty funny and the interview was interesting. Look forward to the Huskers playing the Buffs 2 Saturdays from now.

Towards the end of the show, TnT took many calls from people who wanted to share their stories about blow-up dolls. The topic came about because of the statue/mannequin fetish brought up early in the show. The guys joked all morning about blow-up dolls and finally got some listeners to check in with stories. It seemed that all of the callers were turning in their friends; none of them admitted to nailing a blow-up doll themselves. One caller told TnT about how his friends had trained a blow-up doll in the front yard after a night of drinking. One of those friends actually “blew out her lips” so they had to tape up the doll in order to continue. Another guy checked in and said he and his friends had thrown a doll out into the street. It was returned to them by their local police officer. Yet another call came from a guy whose grandfather was a slumlord. The guy said when he was little, he’d gone with his grandpa to collect rent money from someone. When they arrived at the door, they knocked but got no answer. His grandpa opened up the door and saw the tenant banging away on something. Right away, the tenant looked up to see who’d come in on him. About 4 seconds later, the open-mouthed face of a blow-up doll popped her head over the couch as well. It was a great story and an amazing visual. The guys will probably talk about blow-up dolls again so keep listening.
