The show started off with its cranky pants on this morning. When TnT came in, half of their equipment was missing and some of their other equipment wasn’t working properly. Secondly, the World Herald wasn’t delivered for them today. The reason was most likely due to some construction going on in the front of the building. TnT were quite pissed because all the deliverer needed to do was bring the paper to the other door. The guys asked if there were any listeners who would be willing to fill them in on the headlines from the paper. They took some calls and finally got a paper brought into them.

One of the guys saw a diamond covered bra for sale in a Victoria Secret catalog for 10 million dollars. They decided to call VS and find out how they expect people to pay for such an item. Once they got a hold of someone, they asked a few serious questions and found out that the bras are individually made to fit the person who would be wearing it and that the method of payment is a transfer of funds. Then Tyler asked the woman on the phone if there was any way they could make one “without the nipple part so they’d just be sticking outta there?” The woman promptly hung up on them. It was incredibly funny. From there, the guys spent some time getting listeners to call in with the amount of available credit they had on their cards in an attempt to see if they’d be able to collectively buy their listeners a diamond bra. They reached about $100,000 before they finally got someone to check in with a “no limit” card. After that, they ended the discussion.

The Yam Jam took place this morning at Sunset Speedway with Chris and Jeremy. Neither of the two wanted to be the target for the potatoes once they saw how fast they were flying out of the cannons. TnT checked in with them throughout the show but they really didn’t seem too interested on what was going on at Sunset. The potato guns, although fun to watch a few times, provided very little audio and hearing Slave Boy Chris say, “there was another dud” wasn’t very interesting. The ended up giving away a $92 prize to a man who was able to put a potato in a bucket a few hundred yards away. Pictures may be available on the web site shortly but hell, if the bit wasn’t interesting to Todd and Tyler, it may not be interesting to you either. Maybe we’ll skip the pics.

Travis’s Lock of the week is Texas A&M at home against Texas. His Box of the week is Lisa Lobe. That’s really all I have to say about Travis’s time on the show today.

Speaking of Texas football, TnT spoke with their good buddy Major Applewhite again this morning and yes, they woke him up again. They wanted to get his views on their upcoming instate rivalry and also discussed his ideas on possibly playing the Huskers again this season. It was yet another great interview with the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. (Sorry Lisa, I had to say that.)

The guys thought it would be a good idea to check in with their radio mom Gene to wish her a happy Thanksgiving. It has been nearly 6 years sense the guys first got hooked up with her. It has also been quite a while sense TnT spoke to her so it was nice to hear her on the show again this morning. TnT found out that she’s been doing well with only minor medical problems here and there. She and her son Dick aren’t doing anything special for Thanksgiving. She wished TnT a happy holiday and they returned the wishes to her.

TnT spoke with Bobby Boutan of Florida State this morning. They talked about his team and college football in general. They also touched on the polls and play-off issue. Bobby didn’t say much, however because his team was in the #1 slot already. Why complain when you’re #1? Bobby showed an obvious amount of respect for the Husker program and Tom Osborne. He was very cool and seemed to enjoy talking to Todd and Tyler. If the Huskers end up meeting FSU at some point later on, TnT will probably try to get a hold of Bobby again.

Todd and Tyler will be at Buffalo Wild Wings on Friday at around noon for the Husker game. Stop on out and watch the game with them.
