TnT started off the show this morning by talking about funny concussions. I don’t know how the topic came up but it turned out to be a pretty good one nonetheless. They opened the phones for listeners to check in with their stories about getting concussions and being knocked out. A majority of the calls on the subject were from guys who’d been knocked out either while playing football or in a bar fight. The topic continued throughout the show with many other callers bringing their stories to the table. The funniest aspect of the head trauma conversation was when Tyler played a crack of the bat sound effect over the top of Corkey’s head. “It dinna hurt”, said Corkey repeatedly throughout the show. Yes, it was rather twisted sounding but the mental image of Corkey getting bashed over the head was quite funny.

Larry the Cable Guy called in this morning and delivered a commentary about George Jefferson going bankrupt. It was pretty funny and there were plenty of references to Weezy being a fat pig. Larry will probably check in again towards the end of the week so stay tuned. Also, keep in mind that Larry will be in Omaha doing 3 shows at the Funny Bone on New Years Eve.

Dr. Ed came in today and hung out with TnT for a while. He answered a variety of medical questions for the hosts and their listeners. Some of the topics touched on today included pee shivers, head trauma, slicing penises open for sexual pleasure and leaky boobs. Pee shivers seemed to come up quite often during the show today. Dr. Ed seemed legitimately surprised to hear some female callers check in and claim that they too get the pee shivers. Someone asked what they’d be called for women and Todd came up with “pie quakes”. Dr. Ed will be back with Todd and Tyler on Dec. 15 so mark your calendars.

Ultimate fighter Jeremy Horn came by this morning to promote his fight taking place at Harvey’s Casino tonight at 7:30. He brought his promoter and another fighter with him (I forgot the other fighter’s name). Anyway, they discussed the UFC, some of the rules and also talked about some of the things that happened to Jeremy in fights. It was petty interesting. Later in the show, Jeremy put his friend in a sleeper hold and made him pass out. Because Jeremy’s from Omaha, there were quite a few calls from some of Jeremy’s friends or people from his past who wanted to tell him hello and wish him luck on the fight tonight. Tickets for General Admission are about $22 so stop on out and see the fights at Harvey’s tonight.

Towards the end of the show, TnT spoke with WCW wrestling star Diamond Dallas Page. He was actually pretty funny and seemed to understand that wrestling isn’t a real sport, it’s entertainment. At one point in the conversation, the guys asked him if he’d ever do the Ultimate Fighting thing like Jeremy Horn and Page said “Ohhh nooo!” Later in the discussion, Jeremy Horn brought a match that took place many years ago in which he met Page.
