| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 12-20-1999 Monday 12-20-99 Todd and Tyler were live from the Funny Bone this morning. Bluehouse was the house band and sounded great as they played throughout the show. The guys spent some time talking about the comedy festival taking place at the Funny Bone tonight. They also discussed their weekends and talked about how Omaha was ranked the #10 in the top 10 fattest cities in America. There was also some chatter about a racial slur for Italians (garlic eater) that is in Its a Wonderful Life. The focus of the show turned to the comedy guests after Lisas first newscast. Carl Banks and Auggie Smith showed up bright and early to hang out with TnT. Sean Ganandt and Katt James came by and Diane Aliamo called TnT to talk the Funny Bone comedy show tonight as well as racial slurs for Italians. The comedic guests checked in throughout the show and the most pressing issue the comics discussed revolved around whos picture was biggest on the poster. Larry the Cable Guy called TnT this morning. He didnt have a commentary to deliver but he had worked up quite a few new Christmas carols that he sang for the guys. I must say that Larrys new songs were just as funny as his older ones. He will be calling in later in the week with more carols so if you missed it before, stay tuned in. The Sexy Santa contest got under way slightly after 8am but contestants kept pouring in throughout the show. Carl Banks and several audience members helped pick the 3 finalists for the contest. From there, TnT left the winning choice up to the audience who applauded for each contestant. The audience chose a woman named Heather as the winner. She was awarded a trip to Orlando, Fl. The guys gave away a DVD player as well as a trip to Donnies relatives western Nebraska resort some plane tickets on Midwest Express and $92 cash during their Bobbing for Gerbils contest. The fellas had a huge vat full of eggnog filled with prize gerbils in which contestants bobbed for. Tonight is the big Comedy Fest at the Funny Bone to benefit the Salvation Army. The cost to enter is only $10 and you get to see nearly 20 top quality comedy acts (20 of which are all a bunch of snakes looking to score from comedy groupies). Thats all for the update today. Join TnT tomorrow when theyll be back in studio. Thanks for watching. Goodnight. the Alien Guy- |
