Lisa Volinec rejoined the TnT show this morning after a nearly month long break. The guys talked about her trip to Phoenix and filled her in on what had occurred while she was away. Surprisingly, there weren’t nearly as many “Stevie Nicks is fat” jokes today as there had been last week when Lisa was phoning the show. There was lots of talk this morning about David Crosby being announced as the father to Melissa Ethridge's two babies. I guess this is supposed to be a big deal but it really makes no difference to me. The only part of the story that concerns me is when Donnie put the horrible visual in my head of David Crosby twisting one off into a Dixie cup. Todd talked about a fishing show he’d seen on TV that had featured a fishing story about a 37 hour fight with a 100 pound salmon that just happened to get away at the last moment.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning and delivered a commentary about how upset he gets at the new TV game shows like "Who wants to be a millionaire?" Larry's point was that the questions seem to be so easy. "Folks on Jeopardy is get'n screwed", said Larry. Tune in throughout the week to catch more commentaries from Larry the Cable Guy. And yes, his commentaries have been getting significantly better sense the turn of the New Year.

TnT got into a great conversation about things that annoy people. Details magazine listed some things that they'd found out from famous people and bosses regarding things others to that really get under their skin. TnT went through the printed list and then came up with many ideas of their own. TnT were not trying to say that they get annoyed when listeners approach them in public, they were just saying that there are a few strange types that do get on their nerves. The guys all agreed that they get annoyed by the lurkers who come and say hi to them and then don't know when to leave. They took calls from regular every day non-celebrity folks too. There was a house painter who called in and said he hears "So, you must be a painter" all of the time when he goes to the bar after work in his paint-covered work outfit. An armored car driver said the one he gets the most and absolutely hates is when people see him loading bags into his car and saying "Is that all money?"

The guys had the regular guy and celebrity points of view pretty well covered. TnT even boldly tackled the topic of the annoying “pee dribble” that dons the pant legs of every man at some point or another. Now having never been bosses, they didn’t have much of an idea about the things that would annoy bosses in the workplace. They spent some time talking about what the magazine listed and then speculated on their own. It wasn’t until the end of the show that the Program Director came in studio and shared some of his annoyances.

The guys spoke with Allison Weston today. Allison is from Papillion and is also a former Husker and is currently on the US Olympic volleyball team. They talked to her about how the US beat Canada for a spot in the upcoming Sidney, Australia Olympics and then joked about how there are no other famous people from Papillion. The guys also talked to her about how she's preparing for the Olympics. She said they're doing a lot of work right now at the Colorado Springs Olympic training center. Because it was the topic at hand, TnT had to ask Allison about some of the things that she finds most annoying. She said she really gets ticked off when hotel employees and such mistake the volleyball team for the gymnastics team. It was a pretty interesting conversation.
