Monday 2-1-00

The first two hours of the show were spent discussing a variety of topics. A caller suggested they go over some Valentine’s Day gift ideas with Lisa but that didn’t seem to catch on. There was a lot of talk about the arena but it was all the same old stuff we’ve been hearing for weeks. TnT talked briefly about some more suggestions they got for the Omaha Beef’s dance squad name. The guys sent Jeremy out to play “Who Wants To Be Some Dumb Bitch”. Women seemed to avoid Jeremy because it took him forever to get a participant. Once he finally got someone to play, it turned out that she wasn’t a dumb bitch. She answered the question right and lost the contest.

When Travis came in, TnT and their listeners started hammering him for missing the first ½ of the Super Bowl in order to attend church. They rode him pretty hard about the whole thing because, frankly, there wasn’t much else going on during that part of the show. Well, that and Travis deserved every second of it.

Todd and Tyler tried to call their Dominican Republic hottie Karim today. Unfortunately, answering machines must not be imported onto the island and TnT were unable to establish contact. I’m sure they’ll try again tomorrow. As a backup, the guys called Kerry, the Australian hottie from the London Hard Rock Café. They told her she was pretty close in picking the winner of the Super Bowl and promised to send her a T-shirt. From there, they talked about the Super Bowl party the London Hard Rock had on Sunday, talked about Kerry’s boyfriend and discussed how the British celebrate Valentine’s Day.

TnT discussed, briefly, relationships in which both parties “save themselves” for marriage. They opened the phone lines in hopes of getting a call on the topic and surprisingly, they did. The caller said he and his wife were high school sweethearts and had saved themselves for marriage. He then told the guys about having to stop at a grocery store on the way to the hotel because his new wife had started her period in the limo. Needless to say, it was a less than stellar call.

Comedian Diane Alimo spoke with Todd and Tyler this morning. She called the guys because she heard they had wished he well with some sort of funky heart problem she’s been having. She talked a little bit about her heart and how things should be getting better and then moved on to the important stuff like how many guys she’s going to “do” when she hits town in June and the fact that she’ll be able to drink again. She was also quite pleased to have been medically confirmed as “big boned”. It was nice to hear from Diane and I look forward to her coming to Omaha again soon.

Well, the last bit of the show was filled with stalk about strippers, Lincoln’s “Baby Dolls” club and Dr. Johns. TnT spoke with a stripper and got the low down on yet another Channel 7 “tittie story”. The stripper they spoke to wasn’t very interesting and neither was the story about “Baby Dolls”. They were just letting people lick whipped cream off of the stripper’s asses or something. Anyway, with the TV station’s coverage of Dr. Johns and most recently, the “Baby Dolls” dance club, TnT thought it would be a good idea to put them back in their place. They played (several times) a clip from “NYPD Blue” which airs on Channel 7 in which there are tons of references to gay sex, “ass slamming”, multiple “Johnson” and “Po-po”s and to top it off, someone’s “cut off dick shoved in his underwear”. I’m sure the guys will play that one by request at any time.
