Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning giving Donnie a hard time for being late. I guess there was some sort of wrestling pay-per-view event at Hooters last night and Donnie had a bit too much to drink. Once he made it in (he was only a few minutes behind schedule) they proceeded to talk about
Todd’s “twisting one off injury”. He’d thrown his elbow out of whack…so to speak. Also early in the show, they received a call from a listener who’d attended the Omaha Beef try-outs over the weekend. The spent some time talking with him about the try-outs and were quite happy to be talking football without any interruptions. You see, on Friday’s show they tried to talk football with their St. Louis sports guy buddy but gay comedian Jason Stuart tried to take over the show. Needless to say, TnT were happy to have the show back in their hands this morning and promised to do a “hetro show” today to get things back on the right track.

Larry the Cable Guy called in this morning and gave a commentary about some bad football calls over the weekend. He also broke out into a quick “Gay Larry” after TnT had told him they’d spent last week hanging around Jason Stuart. Listen for more of Larry as the week progresses.

TnT were visited by a listener named Zack today. As you recall, the guys wanted to get one of the Z’s weekend staff “deflowered” this week. His mother wouldn’t allow it and must have been quite upset at what TnT had said on the air about her son. Today, the guys fixed the situation by saying that Joe Taylor nailed a big, fat hog this weekend so he’s no longer a virgin. That should make mom happy (I’m guessing that was TnT’s logic). So TnT said they’d help out a virgin listener instead of Joe Taylor and Zack was that listener. Anyway, he came up bright and early in hopes of TnT finding one of their female listeners who’d agree to have sex with him. Listener Tony even stopped in to help Zack be cool. “Whaaaaaaaaazzzuuuuuuuuup?!” By the end of the show, no one had called in to volunteer so TnT decided to invite Zack back tomorrow as well. If any of you ladies out there have whore friends, have them call the show tomorrow and deflower Zack. Oh yea, remember: If you don’t know who the whore friend in your group is…

Over the weekend the nation celebrated National Pie Day. The guys decided to have another Pie Parade this year (and a “fat free” one at that) so they asked city mayors to check in and offer up their town for the parade. There wasn’t much response so they opted to go to Avoca, Iowa. Who needs the permission of a measly mayor when they have the permission of the Queen? That’s right, Byron joined Barb the Prize Lady, Slave Boy Chris and Intern Puddin for a ride around Avoca. After meeting up with Byron and another listener named Leslie, the group drove around town to distribute Little Debbie pies to all they could see. Afterwards they went to Fred’s Bar and watched two old men play Snooker. A 90-year-old man named Harry and his 80-year-old buddy Melvin stop in to Fred’s Bar every morning for a few games of Snooker. TnT spoke with both of the old guys but it was obvious they were more interested in playing their game than talking to the Todd and Tyler. That was pretty much the end of this year’s pie parade.

The guys discussed a rather twisted topic for a while this morning. That twisted topic revolved around twisted testicles. Lisa had read a story about a man who sued a doctor and won because his twisted testicle was misdiagnosed and the testicle died in the sack because of it. The guys took calls from male listeners who have suffered from twisted testicles and lived to tell about it. A doctor or at least someone who has had some medical experience told TnT all about the phenomenon. My crotch ached just listening to the caller's description. Luckily, that didn’t discussion didn’t last very long.

Tomorrow TnT will be speaking with their Washington DC buddy Lee Terry. They’re going to try to help their listeners figure out what it takes to register to vote. This is obviously linked to their threat to leave town if Omaha doesn’t vote for an arena. We all know TnT like Omaha, they say it every day. But if we don’t get a new arena the guys aren’t ever going to have a professional team to cheer for OR the ability to drive down town to see a big named concert.
