| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 02-21-2000 Monday 2-21-00 Todd and Tyler started off the show this morning discussing their Chub Stop/final Ivory Star show in Columbus over the weekend. It was a huge success and everyone seemed to have a really great time. The guys spent some time talking about their stop at Little Bos before the concert, the concert itself and the after-effects. Everyone got really drunk, Charlie Keeper of the Dogs slept with his feet dangling off the bed and Todd levitated until he was woken up by a 4:30am call from Donette who was getting revenge for all the times TnT had woken her up early after a night of partying. TnT spoke with Fridays Vegas trip winner. Her name is Katie and shell be turning 21 in 3 days. Katie is going to take her boyfriend with her and seemed genuinely excited about winning the trip. Speaking of Vegas, Mushroom Bruise came in studio and performed todays Vegas song. They sounded great even with TnT playing the kazoo for backup music. If you didnt get the chance to hear them on the show, check them out at the Ranch Bowl on Thursday night. J Medicinehat called in this morning and, thankfully, broke up a hideous conversation between TnT, Donnie and Travis about how no one cares about Husker basketball and how no other big one sport schools give a damn about the other sports. As I mentioned, the conversation was hideous but Js call helped bring the show back to an entertaining level. In fact, J told the guys a story about getting bitch slapped by a drunk college chick after one of his shows recently that I rather amusing. J will be at the Funny Bone tonight for a special engagement dirty show. At 8:15am, there were only 20 tickets left. You can call the Bone Phone at 493-8036 to see if there are any tickets left at this time. The guys got into a discussion about Jim Minges article in the paper this weekend. The article was about the local TV weathermen. I guess someone had went through all of the weather guys predictions and compared them in relations to the big Friday snowstorm. Foxs weather guy had the most accurate forecast even though hes got the worst equipment in the market. What was of interest to TnT was how Jim Flowers claimed Bill Rambey was stealing his forecasts. TnT thought that was very amusing considering most of the weather they give us all comes from the same place, the National Weather Service. Mark Lemon stopped in this morning for no apparent reason. He hung out with TnT for a bit and slipped into his alter ego, Willie Johnson, a few times. Dave, the manager (well, former) of Ivory Star came in today to hang out with TnT for a bit. He talked about the success of the band and mentioned what he and a few of the former band members might do in the future. They talked to the drummer on the phone but unfortunately, they didnt call Donette. TnT ended the show this morning discussing their A vote for the Arena is a vote for TnT yard signs theyve recently had made up. They wanted to start giving them away to folks in a high traffic area. The idea is to put the signs around town in spots where lots of people will see them. They got many calls from listeners telling TnT where they lived and all of them wanted a sign. This will probably continue going on until they run out of signs or the election takes place. Well, thats all for the update this morning. Check back here tomorrow for another. Thanks for watching. Goodnight. the Alien Guy-
