Todd and Tyler started off this morning’s show talking about candy. Lisa read a news story about a company that’s putting packages of nostalgic candy together and selling them. She went down the list of some of the included candies and TnT were instantly transported back to their childhoods. Many callers checked in throughout the show to give their favorite childhood candies and compare their favorites with TnT’s. Bottle Caps, Zots, Waxed Lips and Pop Rocks were just a few of the countless tooth rotters mentioned today. Later in the show, someone brought up a box full of various old candies for the TnT show gang to munch on.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in today to deliver a commentary on how health food makes him constipated. Larry ranted about the whole world being in an uproar over eating healthy and expressed his disliking for such things. Larry was also met this morning with a new theme song. Actually, it was the “Chicken Dance” song with “Git’er done!” scattered through it.

TnT called yesterday’s Vegas trip winner. His name is Rick and he plans on taking his wife with him if she can get off work. He seemed pretty cool and rather excited about going back. According to Rick, it’s been about a year and a half sense he and his wife were last in Vegas. Ox 45 came in to play today’s Vegas tune. They also handed out new Ox 45 T-shirts and CDs to TnT. The band also performed a song called “Express Diekman” that was somewhat inspired by the TnT show. If you missed Ox 45 today, they will be at Guitars and Cadillacs tonight opening up for Sebastian Bach, formerly of Skid Row.

TnT spoke with comedian Robert Schimmel this morning. The guys talked about his comedy career and discussed a pilot he’s working on for 20th Century Fox. Dan Ellison from the Funny Bone came in this morning. He talked with TnT about being from West Virginia, working as an electronic engineer for years before going into comedy and about his sexual past. Needless to say, after Dan started talking about his sexual past, candy wasn’t brought up again. It turns out that Dan and his ex-wife used to be swingers so there were lots of tails about their relationship today. Dan discussed buying his ex-wife new boobs before she left him, having video of her in compromising situations, an argument over nude pictures in divorce court, drug use, things that happened to him as a pizza delivery boy and more. Not only was Dan one of the more entertainingly interesting comedians TnT have had in studio for a while, but he also brought along his very own sound effects machine. He’d taken apart a bunch of the children’s books with the push button sounds built into the sides of them and wired them all together into his very own sound effect machine.
