| Straight Pimpin ![]() | TnT Show 03-29-2000 Wednesday 3-29-00 Todd and Tyler started off this morning’s show reading some e-mails and message board posts that actually related to the show. They also talked about how baseball’s season opener was taking place in Japan at the moment. The Cubs were playing the Mets (I believe) so it was no surprise when the guys got Ken Savera on the phone. He talked about how the Cubs were going to suck this year (even though they actually won the game later in the morning) and slipped in and out of Harry Kerry throughout the call. TnT played another rousting round of Caller 9’s History Quiz! They checked in with her this morning and asked her who shot Lincoln. To everyone’s surprise, she nailed it! Congratulations 9. Larry the Cable Guy called in to deliver a commentary completely based on how hot Faith Hill is. Of course, Larry masterfully worked in the obligatory “turd” reference toward the end of his call. Dr. Ed came in studio and spent a few hours with TnT. As usual, they pretty much ran the gambit of topics. Organ donation, freezing genital warts, blue urine and leaky asses were among the subjects covered this morning. Dr. Ed will be back in a few weeks so if you didn’t get the chance to ask him a medical question today, stay tuned in. The guys got a call from Zack Wieger today. He wanted to check in with his side of the whole St. Patrick’s Day firefighter bathroom controversy. After telling his story, he stated that he was planning on pressing charges on the two brothers who were involved in the bathroom scuffle. He plans on being back in town in a few weeks and TnT invited him onto the show. They may try to arrange the firefighter involved to come in studio the same day so they can get things worked out over the air. John Floyd from the Funny Bone came in today. He’s a North Carolina guy so he bonded with Tyler who just returned from the Carolinas. He was pretty funny and seemed to enjoy his time on the show. Other than that, there’s just not a whole lot to say about him. Check him out at the Funny Bone by calling 493-8036 for reservations and information. TnT spoke with Aundrey Augustien today. He’s a former bodyguard for KISS, Run DMC, Aerosmith and more. He’s put out a new book about his experiences on the road protecting famous folks called “Guardian of the Gods”. TnT talked about the book and discussed the star’s reactions to it. They also covered some stories Aundrey had about various stars. Before he left, he did inform TnT that he’s working on a deal to get into the WWF as “The Guardian” so all of you necks out there will be able to see him on Monday nights soon. Aundrey will be in town on Sunday for the big KISS Expo 2000 at the Holiday Inn Central. Stop on out if you’re a fan. The last hour of the show seemed to center on the Arena discussion. Truthfully, there’s not a whole lot to write about in regards to the topic. TnT discussed why everyone should vote yes. Hopefully it’s sticking with all the listeners so we don’t lose TnT in May. People, vote YES. It’s that simple. There is absolutely no reason not to! Well, that’s all for the update today. Check back here tomorrow for the Thursday version. Thanks for watching. Goodnight. –the Alien Guy-
