| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 03-30-2000 Thursday 3-30-00 Lisa read an article listing 9 things that desperate men do. After stepping through them all, TnT spent some time going over them and making their own confessions on desperate things theyve done in the past. From there, they opened the phones and let listeners check in with their own acts of desperation. There were a few good ones from listeners but, by far, the best one of the day came from Travis. He admitted to making DJ tapes of love songs and please take me backs and sending them to his no-wife when theyd temporarily split up in college. General Jim stopped in later in the show and said that if Travis would bring in one of those tapes and let TnT play it on the air, hed read one of his own desperate letters he wrote to his wife years ago. Stay tuned to see what happens with that. There was a ton of talk about the firefighter/ZackWieger St. Patricks Day bathroom incident today. The guys even replayed Zacks call from yesterday. Throughout the show, listeners who were there (and many who werent) called in to support one side or the other. TnT seemed to drag the topic out just because it pisses off Lisa. I guess thats as good a reason as any to do something. I really have nothing more to say about the conversations had on this subject even though it seemed to take up a majority of the show. TnT sent Slave Boy Chris to the Tires Plus store on 144th and Center Street this morning for a horn blowing contest. They wanted to hear strange horns and distribute various prizes and tickets to the World of Wheels event. Chris checked in throughout the show and had some of the contestants fire off their horns for TnT. Somebody won
The guys played another round of Caller 9s History Quiz this morning. When they called, she was in the shower so during the question she was naked, wet and soapy. She also got this morning s history question correct. Christene Stedmon from the Funny Bone came in studio for a bit today. She didnt say much of anything so I dont have a whole lot to write about her. Call the Bone phone at 493-8036 for reservations to catch her and Walt Willey this weekend. The guys spoke with Jerry Dickson of Warrant this morning. He checked in from a truck stop in Gothenburg (somewhere in western Nebraska) to talk to TnT about Warrants current tour. He was pretty cool but the guys seemed to have a better time talking to the truck stop waitress Jerry handed the phone to during the middle of the interview. The band will be playing the Ranch Bowl on Monday so if youre a fan, stop on out and see them perform. Well, thats the update today. Tomorrow Walt Willey will be in studio. This, hopefully, will give everyone something better to discuss than a former Husker and a friggin fire fighter. Thanks for watching. Goodnight.
