There was a story about children with eating disorders on last night’s “20-20” brought up by several callers early in today’s show. After some discussion, the guys got on the topic of weird eating habits. Many callers checked in to talk about strange things they or their kids do. Some people don’t like meat to touch other meat, others must have separate compartments on their plates in order to avoid a juice merger. It was pretty cool to hear how twistedly weird other people are when it comes to their food.

During the discussion of strange eating habits, Todd mentioned something about witnessing a chicken being decapitated when he was a child. Unknowingly, he opened the door to countless calls from listeners who wanted to talk about their own experiences with headless chickens. As the show progressed, I think the guys got a little tired of hearing the stories and did their best to put an end to it.

John Miserock, the new manager of the Golden Spikes came in studio today to talk a little baseball with TnT. He talked about his background in the Majors as a player for the Braves in the 80’s and also discussed his coaching history. John seemed to enjoy hanging out with TnT and came across like a very cool guy. Tonight is the opening night for the Golden Spikes. For the first time in several years, opening night isn’t going to suck due to weather. Get on out to the ball field and enjoy the game.

The guys sent Slave Boy Chris out this morning with a van full of “A vote for the arena is a vote for Todd and Tyler” signs. Throughout the show, listeners checked in to request sign delivery. If they were in a high traffic area, the guys sent Chris there to drop off a sign. Chris checked in a few times throughout the show but didn’t seem to have anything interesting to say. After a while, TnT stopped putting the request calls on the air but continued sending the Slave Boy all over town.

Tony came in studio and hung with TnT for a while this morning. While he was there, TnT thought it would be funny to call Augusta, GA where the Masters golf tournament is held, and have a little fun with the racist pricks. They dialed up the clubhouse and the phone answerer was met with a “Waaaazzzuuuuuup”. After some verbal twitching, Tony asked to speak with Tyrone in the kitchen. If you’ll recall, the only black people TnT could find at Augusta last year were in the kitchen. After being put on hold, someone in the kitchen picked up. Believe it or not, he was actually named Tyrone. Tony pretended that they were old high school buddies but Tyrone wasn’t falling for it. Then he passed the phone to another black gentleman that said something to the effects of, “Ain’t you got nothin better ta do than bug me at work?”

Later in the show, the guys still hadn’t had their fix of screwing with Augusta. They had Alicia from the Funny Bone staff call the message area and leave a Post-It for her husband Payne Stewart (who died in the freak plane on auto-pilot full of dead frozen guys over SD accident not too long ago). The lady who answered the phone was a little clueless but said she’d relay the message. Donnie, pretending to be the dead golfer, called the same lady as Payne Stewart to see if there were any messages for him. The woman at Augusta had obviously been tipped off on the bit by someone there because she turned into a real bitch on Donnie. Listen today and you’ll probably hear the calls played as today’s promo.

JR Brow from the Funny Bone came in studio today. Bringing his guitar with him, he played various parity songs during his visit. He seems like a genuinely funny guy so get on out to the Bone this weekend and catch him with Don Irerra (who will be in studio with TnT tomorrow).
