Todd and Tyler started off the show this morning playing a phone call from an angry woman in Red Oak, IA. As we all heard on yesterday’s show, the World Herald reported that 10 meth labs have been busted in the small town of 6000 in recent months. Todd and Tyler talked about it because it’s pretty strange to have a meth lab for every 600 residence in a town. Well, the woman on the phone went a little off the wall saying that TnT were inviting meth people to her town, which they obviously didn’t.

As mentioned in the bitchy phone call, the lady was of the opinion that TnT had lost 6300 listeners because they reported on the drug problem in Red Oak. The guys thought they’d send Slave Boy Chris and Barb the Prize Lady out to Red Oak to try to win back some of their former listeners one by one. First they talked to a police officer who was a listener. He showed them a few of the houses that were recently busted. After that, they went to a resturaunt called JD’s. It was full of mostly older people who didn’t want to talk to TnT. Finally, Linda the waitress spoke with the guys. Later on, Chris and Barb talked to the owner of a health club. She seemed pretty cool too. Todd and Tyler also spoke with 2 members of the Red Oak city council. They confirmed the problem and were greatfull that TnT were helping put a spot light on it. After all, if everyone knows they’re busting crank houses in Red Oak doesn’t it make sense for any remaining crank houses to get out of town, therefore ridding the town of the problem?

At some point during the morning, Chris was given a tip by a local listener who said he/she thought they knew who the angry caller lived. Todd and Tyler sent Slave Boy Chris over to her house so he could deliver some Fat Freddie Meat Snacks and try to win her back. Chris knocked but no one answered. A listener called in and said that he/she had tried to call the person but the line was busy. By that, the listener drew the conclusion that the angry lady was just hiding inside. Chris walked around the house a bit looking for someone he could talk to but didn’t stumble across anyone.

Towards the very end of the show, the woman who owned the house pulled up in her van. She’s just returned from taking her kids to school and she was pissed! She claimed that she was not the woman who phoned the station to complain yesterday even though her voice sounded incredibly similar to the angry caller. Well, the woman who stood in front of Chris was super mad, threatened to call the police and basically tried to raise all sorts of hell just because someone in the town had confused her with some other bitchy lady and had relayed that bad information to Todd and Tyler’s poor Slave Boy. I’m sure further details on the situation will eventually follow so stay tuned.

Lisa read a quiz this morning about when couples should know it’s time to break up and move on. She read through the quiz while she and TnT answered the various questions. For some reason, none of the listeners seemed to pick up on the discussion so the topic was pretty much dropped. Everyone seemed more interested in commenting on the town of Red Oak and their drug problem.

Dr. Ed came in and brought us news of his new baby boy! Giancarlo “the Big Smaller Cat” Dominguez was born on April 2nd and weighed 9 pounds 9 ounces. Congratulations Dr. Ed and Mrs. Dr. Ed! The guys spent a few hours taking medical questions from listeners that covered snot, adobe poop, chunky sperm and breast pump rentals.

Between all the Red Oak calls/talk and the Dr. Ed visit, the guys pretty much wrapped up their Wednesday show.
