| Straight Pimpin ![]() | TnT Show 04-17-2000 Monday 4-17-00 Todd and Tyler started off their show today discussing the Dr. John trial. They were, of course, not happy with the fact that he was convicted but said that Dr. John’s isn’t going to be shut down right away. I guess he’s got to be convicted 3 times before that will happen. They took lots of support calls on the matter throughout the show. The guys mentioned that they are still doing the sex Easter-egg Hunt on Friday so make sure that you tune in. Todd told us all about his terrible weekend which included him spending a few hours behind bars. When Todd left the show Friday morning on his way to get some personal matters dealt with, he was pulled over by a police officer. The officer informed him that he had a warrant out for his arrest for a “Failure to appear”. You see, Todd’s dog scratched a kid a while ago and he was supposed to appear in court last Tuesday to get things straightened up. Poor Todd got the wrong date, thinking he had until this Tuesday. In order to avoid any further trouble, he drove down to the courthouse and turned himself in (hoping to get the misunderstanding straightened up quickly). Well, he was booked and spent several hours in the slammer with a bunch of crank heads. His Yutan buddy, Charlie, bailed him out and all was taken care of. The guys played a phone call taped by Lynn Taylor over the weekend. On the tape was a man who wanted to bitch about TnT’s Payne Stewart bit a few weeks ago. Lynn did her best to talk some sense into the monitored moron caller and seemed to do a pretty good job because, at the end of the call, the guy requested a song for her to play. It was pretty funny. TnT spent a little time commenting about the cal and then moved on. The big topic of the day seemed to be that of circumcision. A listener e-mailed the guys to find out their take on the subject. Both being circumcised, they didn’t see a problem with it. They also seemed to focus their discussion on what women would think of an uncircumcised throck later in life. They gave Tyler’s dad a call to find out details on the “loss of feeling” issue that was brought up. Ed had to have a circumcision when he was 39 so he knew the before and after feelings of it. Ed confirmed that afterwards, there is a little less feeling. I believe it was Lisa who brought Travis’s new baby boy, Owen, into the mix. She piped up and said that Travis had decided not to circumcise Owen. When TnT, Donnie and the listeners asked, out of curiosity, why Travis had decided not to do the procedure, Travis morphed into King Dickhead. He became incredibly defensive, snapped repeatedly at Donnie, ignored TnT’s questioning and, at one point, chewed out a caller. The caller was just checking in to tell Travis to mellow out a bit because he was coming across like a complete jerk to all the listeners. Travis became even more defensive and dropped the “Screw you buddy” card on him. Bob Malone, the “boogie woogie piano player”, came in studio this morning and played a few songs. He was in town a few months ago but was so well received that he decided to come back. He sounded great on the show today and seemed to have a good time hanging out with TnT again. You can catch him at the Music Box on Wednesday and at McKennas on Friday. I have no idea if I spelled the name of that bar right but you get the picture. Well, that’s all for the Monday update. Check back here tomorrow for the Tuesday version. Thanks for watching. Goodnight. –the Alien Guy-
