Tuesday 4-18-00

Todd and Tyler started off this morning’s show reading some e-mails and message board posts from idiots. Afterwards, they discussed a little bit about how Dr. John thinks there might have been some jury tampering by the Mayor’s office because the fax was date/time stamped before the verdict was read. The guys got into a lengthy discussion about fax machines and whether or not the automatically change their dates for Daylight Savings time. According to a former fax machine saleswoman, most do not so it was probably just something overlooked by the mayor’s office. TnT sounded as though they wanted to believe Dr. John’s claim so he could get a new trial but it seems the explanations they received and discussed made much more sense to them.

The guys spent a little time talking about their upcoming Huskers vs. Fireman paintball war taking place on Saturday. Many listeners called in to tell TnT about the pain they’d most likely experience. Some said it was no big deal while others tried to help TnT get out of participating. The guys asked for lesbians to call in and offer to participate and they actually got a call from a woman who said she and her girlfriend would play. Stay tuned for more details as the week progresses. By the way, if you know any midgets, have them give TnT a call tomorrow.

A dancer named Candy was escorted by Slave Boy Chris out to Dodge Street this morning wearing a slightly see-through outfit and an Arena sign sandwich board. She walked up and down Dodge Street waving to motorists trying to get them to vote for the Arena. Slave Boy Chris handed out buttons to all who stopped by. They checked in throughout the show and seemed to get a very good response from all that saw them. Check out the New Pics page for a picture of the hottie this morning.

The guys spoke with Former Husker Ahman Green today. He was recently traded from the Seahawks to the Packers and TnT wanted to find out how he felt about that. After Donnie called and woke him up, he was cool enough to go on the air and talk with the guys. According to his account, he didn’t even know he’d been traded because he was in Florida cooking hamburgers for his daughter’s birthday party. His father, who I assume is in Seattle (?), heard word first and called to tell his son. Ahman said he was surprised but not hurt about the trade. He then spent a little time talking Seahawk jerks with TnT and discussing his upcoming career as a Packer. All in all, he said he was happy to be a little closer to home.

Lisa read a list of the top 10 make out CDs according to E! Online. As they went through the list, the guys played clips from the CDs (that they had available) and discussed their own make out song memories. The discussion got twisted, at one point, and the guys found themselves discussing wedding songs. Many callers checked in to talk about the cliché wedding songs they used but some of the listeners had off the wall songs instead. Those seemed to be much more interesting to TnT. The topic continued on throughout the remainder of the show.
