Friday 4-21-00

Todd and Tyler started off this morning’s show talking about some events in the news. They found it amusing when a truck full of frozen food dumped on the interstate last night. Todd brought up the fact that his new lawyer doesn’t listen to the show and Tyler said how much of a bad idea he thought that was. They also replayed yesterday’s semi-incestual trained counseling phone call. Check yesterday’s update for details. They were going to continue discussing the caller’s situation and tried to get a hold of her. When they called, the person who answered (who sounded just like yesterday’s callers) said she wouldn’t be available until after 10am. Todd and Tyler saw right through that and decided to move on.

Gene from the Brass Grille (1207 Harney) came in studio today for the final installment of Big Beefy Friday. This morning he cooked up some scrumptious breast and penis shaped steaks to taunt Travis with.

Today’s Vibrating Easter Egg hunt took place early this morning in the parking lot and trees outside of the Z-92 building. Several groups of men and women took to the trees in search of various rubber penises and such. After each wave had completed their search, TnT talked to many of the women participants and had them describe the toys they picked up. After the hunt, TnT sent Donnie into the bathroom and had him stick a couple of anal beads up his butt. Donnie did it and reported the results. Why would Donnie stick anal beads up his ass? Hm….I don’t know. Maybe, hm….he’s gay? This morning’s event turned out to be a huge success and if we vote in the arena, the guys will most likely do it again next year.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in today and gave a commentary on how Al Gore wants to start recycling toilet water to help save the environment.

Lisa brought in another top 10 movie list about sports films. The guys spent some time guessing the list and opened the phone lines for some listener help as well. It didn’t take them as long to guess today’s list as it did yesterday’s. They did find a similarity in the two lists. As in yesterday’s, this morning’s movie list left off some truly great ones like “Slap Shot”, “Field of Dreams” and “Hoosiers”.

The guys got a phone call from their comedy buddy Mark Gross today. He talked about his upcoming wedding, discussed how bad radio is outside of the TnT listening area and filled TnT in on what’s going on in his career. Mark will be in town shortly so look forward to him stopping by the show.

Willie Farrell from the Funny Bone came in this morning and hung out with the guys. He joined in on the topics of the day and brought his own subjects to the table as well. Willie’s father was a mob guy sent from Chicago to Des Moines so the guys spent a great deal of time discussing Willie’s mob-related history. It was incredibly interesting. I won’t detail all of the conversation here because you’ll most likely hear it on an upcoming “TnT are on vacation Best Of Donnie” show.
