Tuesday 4-25-00

Todd and Tyler started off the show this morning re-reading a hate e-mail they received towards the end of yesterday’s show. They spent a little time bashing the idiot who wrote the letter and then moved on to discuss things in the news. Not a whole lot went on so they pretty much opened up the phones and discussed anything that came up. Todd complained about how he’s not getting any sympathy for not getting any because of his personal problems. After that, the calls poured in throughout the entire show from people saying they got laid last night just so they could rub it in to Todd. Everyone from Christopher Reeves to Elien Gonzalez, from the Pope to Schnobble checked in. They’re all getting laid.

The guys got a call early this morning from a man who said he was on the way to the hospital with his wife how had just went into labor. The guy asked TnT to call the hospital for them and inform them that they were coming so they could get a wheelchair ready for them. TnT made the call but ended up getting through to the wrong department a few times. When they finally got the right place, the woman at the hospital didn’t believe Todd and Tyler because they didn’t have the first name of the lady who was in labor. TnT were a little mad because they were being serious. Shortly after, the man, Chad, called back and gave his wife’s name, Kerry, so the guys could convince the lady at the hospital to get a wheelchair ready. Right after that, TnT got a call from a security guard at the hospital who was listening and said he’d get people ready for the arrival of the pregnant lady. Towards the end of the show, the man called back and said his wife had a needle in her back so she was feeling no pain.

Lisa read another top 10 movie list today. This morning it was all about chick movies. The guys spent some time trying to guess the movies on the list and had lots of help from listeners. The guys finally got all 10 and moved on. They effectively killed a segment or two with the list.

Dr. Ed came in this morning and spent a few hours with Todd and Tyler. As always, he answered a plethora of weird questions about VDs, stretchmarks, veiny nuts and people who are afraid of doctors. That’s really all I’ve got to detail about the time spent with Dr. Ed today.

TnT had a brief conversation with their buddy Redd Peters. The conversation was filled with childish “Heywood Jablowme” type of name references but that’s what we’ve all come to expect from Redd. He talked briefly about his stage show and promoted his upcoming show at the Funny Bone taking place next Tuesday. Call the Bone Phone at 493-8036 for reservations and information.

Tyler’s dad came in studio this morning and hung out with TnT. Ed’s going with the guys on their trip to Vegas. After Dr. Ed left the show this morning, Tyler’s dad took over for him.

Flip Schultz from the Funny Bone stopped by today. He hung out with TnT for a while and seemed to enjoy himself. He’ll be at the Funny Bone tomorrow night all through the weekend so make sure to get out and see him. Call 493-8036 for reservations.
