Todd and Tyler started off this morning’s show talking about their trip to Vegas. They had a great time with all the listeners and relayed many stories of the trip throughout today’s show. A few of the listeners who went with them also checked in to share their tales of the Vegas trip.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in with TnT this morning and delivered a commentary about a Florida man who was caught filling a squirt gun with semen and running around shooting people with it.

Lisa read another list from the Internet this morning. Today’s list was about the top 12 fads. As usual, there were lots of obvious ones that were overlooked. There were even a few that absolutely should not have been on the list. TnT spent some time making their guesses and opened the phone lines for their listeners to participate as well.

Todd and Tyler talked with their buddy Dr. John this morning. While they were away, Dr. John was sentenced to 120 days in jail for selling his videos. The guys talked with him about the whole situation and Dr. John said he’d be appealing the court’s decision. TnT also talked about his new trial which, I think, starts today or tomorrow. I’m sure we’ll hear more about Dr. John soon so stay tuned.

There was a little talk about Internet love stories today after a caller checked in and said he was going to have one that actually worked. TnT gave the young caller a hard time after they got the details of the story. Later, they got another call from a woman who detailed her Internet love story and how it was working. Really, if you think about it, when these stories work out, it’s boring. I think we’d all prefer to hear the horror stories about Internet love because it’s more interesting. So, quit calling in your success tales and share the pure evil that is cyber love with the hosts.

Towards the latter part of the show, the guys got a call from a guy who was trying to talk his daughter into not dropping out of school. She’s a senior in Benson and only has 8 days left before graduation but she’s decided to skip her last 8 days so she could “get a head start” on getting a job. Her reason was that she wanted to beat the crowd of upcoming graduates into the job market. Her dad called the school to find out if she’d still graduate if she took the last week off but they said she would not. He came to TnT for help, thinking they’d be able to convince her to finish her last 8 days. After the guys spoke with her, they were convinced she was quitting school because of something her boyfriend said. Even though they talked to her for nearly 15 minutes trying to convince her she’d be making a mistake by quitting now, I’m not sure their point got across to her. There will most likely be a follow-up call or two on the situation so look forward to that.
