Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning talking about yesterday’s show. They decided that, because yesterday was full of arena and issue talk, they’d make today’s show issue free and that’s how they proceeded. TnT read a bunch of e-mails in their first hour. Some were good, others were from morons.

Early in the show the entire gang got into a huge discussion over whether or not Todd should get his wife a Mother’s Day card/gift in their current situation. Todd and Donnie were both of the opinion that they shouldn’t get the mothers of their children anything. Donnie wasn’t going to because, it seems, he can’t stand his ex. Todd didn’t want to (or know if he should) because he didn’t know if the gesture would be received well. Tyler and Lisa both agreed that regardless of how the gift/card is received (or if it’s wanted at all), it’s the right thing to do because she is, after all, the mother of his children regardless of their current troubles. Many listeners checked in on the topic and gave their points and the subject was brought up again later in the show. I think Tyler, Lisa and some of the callers may have persuaded Todd into getting a card for his wife which, in my opinion, is exactly what he should do…but what do I know? I’m sure he’ll fill us in on what he decides on Monday morning.

Lisa’s List this morning started off as being one of those lame-ass joke top 10 lists that we’ve all been getting in our e-mails for years. It was titled “Top 10 prison pickup lines”. Luckily, TnT put a stop to that and had Lisa go find a real list. When she returned, she had the top 10 TV Moms list (a much better subject). TnT went through their selections and became quite pissed that some very obvious choices weren’t on the list (Momma Brady was left off!)

At one point in the show, the guys got a call from a listener who told them about a pair of shoes he’s seen on the Kennedy Freeway off ramp for the past 2 months. The listener, remembering the squished rabbit Todd had obsessed over, thought he’d turn to TnT to get some help in the shoe removal. TnT called Slave Boy Chris and sent him out to the busy interstate to remove the shoes. Chris checked in from the road and took care of the shoes. It’s nice to see the slave boy putting his Creighton education to work.

Tammy Peskatelli from the Funny Bone came in for the latter half of the show. She hung out with TnT and joined in on the topics of the day. Tammy also told a story about her nearly burning down the comedy condo the last time she visited Omaha. It was also humorous to hear that the reason she got into comedy was because of Corky. That’s right. She saw Corky on TV and figured “if that guy can do it, I can too.” At that point, Donnie brought in the waterhead and Tammy nearly peed herself each time Corky orgasmed over pudding. Towards the end of the show, the guys played a little game with Tammy. She’s really good at remembering time slots and networks of TV shows (she was a loser in high school, I guess). The guys went down Lisa’s List and had Tammy make her guesses. She turned out to be correct a majority of the time. Make sure to catch Tammy at the Funny Bone this week. I couldn’t help but to picture Bobcat with huge cans and a pie.
