| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 05-12-2000 Friday 5-12-00 Todd and Tyler started off this mornings show with about a half hour long clip from a few weeks ago. When the guys actually came on the air live, we found out that Todds truck broke down this morning and it took him about that long to get a ride in. It was Todds wife who actually drove him into work, which everyone seemed to think was just a little bit strange. The only person I can count on for a ride is the woman whos leaving me. Barb and Chris went to 72nd and Dodge this morning to sell Fat Freddy Meat Bouquets and Two Weeks T-shirts for Mothers Day. The two checked in throughout the show in order to remind people to stop on out and report back on the number of sales. All of the cash from this mornings sales went to the American Cancer Society. Thats all Ive got to say about that. TnT spent some time talking with their listeners about their mothers. The guys wanted to know the largest and smallest age gap between listeners and their moms. Many people called in to share their age differences and some of them, frankly, were very frightening. I believe the biggest age gap was 48 years and the smallest was 13 or 14 years. TnT also opened up the phone lines for their regular callers and offered them the chance to call their moms on the air. Several of the regulars did including Kevin and Heavy C. The guys also called Todds parents so he could wish his mom a happy Mothers Day and somehow the gang got into a discussion over why Todd doesnt talk to his sister. After that was all worked out, Tyler agreed that he probably wouldnt talk to Todds sister either. Larry the Cable Guy checked in and delivered a commentary on the New Mexico fires. I think from this point on, Ill just tell you folks what Larrys commentary was about and then give you an update on how many weeks it will be before he comes into town. Theres no sense in me trying to write about his commentaries. Theyre either great or the suck ass. Either way, I dont do them justice here. Just so you know, Larry will be in town in about 4 weeks. Check out his web site at http://www.larrythecableguy.com target=blank>www.larrythecableguy.com for details and more Larry bits. Lisas List this morning was the top 10 things said at the office that sound dirty but arent. The guys and their callers seemed to have a good time with that one. Again, theres not much more to say about that. Lewis Johnson Jr. from the Funny Bone came in this morning and hung out with TnT for a while. He talked briefly about what it was like to be married to a black woman as a black man and explained his 300-mile cheating rule. He also discussed living in the Denver ghetto. Upon the mention of Denver, Todd fell into a Corky-sees-pudding orgasmic jitter and tried to go off on a Denver-related tangent but that died down pretty quick. Lewis didnt really say much other than occasionally jumping in with a quick comment about the discussions of the day. Check him out at the Funny Bone this weekend. Call 493-8036 for reservations. Towards the end of the show, there were quite a few subtle references made to something that had gone on in the front office area of the radio station. Although they wouldnt detail exactly what had happened, they did say that theyd probably talk about it on Monday. I think its safe to assume that they got yet another cranked up Husker freak spouting hatred in the lobby. Tune in Monday to see what has happened. Well, thats the update. Im just gonna go home. Thanks for watching. Good night. Your Mom-
