To start the show this morning, the guys talked about Todd’s “Bestest boyfriend” certificate Donnie found while rummaging through Todd’s briefcase yesterday. It seems that Todd’s new girl, who very little is known about, made him up a nice little certificate on the computer dubbing him the best boyfriend ever. Donnie and Tyler ragged on Todd about his award all morning long. Also early in the show, the guys were talking about Lisa’s upcoming departure from Omaha. Tyler told the story of when he left PA to move here and the story was so touching, it made Lisa cry. The gang also talked about vandalism this morning after one of Lisa’s news stories. Donnie came in and tried to give TnT the perspective of a vandal by telling them tales of his Dodge County days. I think Donnie should have gotten detasseling time for that but it didn’t come. In fact, the guys didn’t add on any detasseling time to Donnie all morning long and, believe me, they had plenty of opportunities. Speaking of Donnie, TnT discussed Running Character Survivor that will be taking place during tomorrow’s show. Only 16 of the 24 contestants are Donnie.

Dr. Ed came in this morning and hung out with TnT. He answered questions about butt heat and bleeding penises. For the most part, the Dr. Ed calls sucked this morning. The interesting calls were few and far between. Too many serious calls slipped past the barrage of people who sat at the call screening station which included Lisa, Big Pussy and Corky. We don’t care whether or not your tumor is on the inside or outside of your uterus and we don’t care about some unpronounceable medicine for an even harder to pronounce disease. Hopefully when Dr. Ed returns in 3 weeks, the call screeners will have stepped it up a notch and you listeners/callers will finally get the point that TnT want INTERESTING questions for the doctor. Thankfully, TnT and a few callers were able to come up with enough fun topics for Dr. Ed to talk about that his visit was enjoyable to listen to.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning and did a commentary on piercings of the penis. There’s really nothing more to say about that. He’ll probably check in again on Friday.

Former Husker Dave Remmington came in and hung out with TnT for a while. He talked football, drinking and food with Todd and Tyler throughout the show.

Percy Crews II from the Funny Bone came in today to help promote tonight’s Z-92 night at the Funny Bone. He joined in on the topics of the day and seemed to have a good time on the show. He’ll probably be back on Friday morning. Call the Bone Phone at 493-8036 for reservations.

Towards the end of the show, TnT spoke with Jeff Pilsen, the bass player for Dokken. They talked about the 80’s, Dokken’s current tour and their appearance at this year’s Birthday Bash.
