| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 07-24-2000 Monday 7-24-00 Todd and Tyler started off this mornings show reading some e-mails, message board posts and talking about some stuff from the newspaper. They also discussed the 100 MPH+ boat ride they got on Saturday night at the Anchor Inn in which they thought they were going to die. A discussion and some calls about bums in dumpsters were also a part of the show early in the morning. It would seem that a man here in town was crushed in a garbage truck after his home was unloaded into the back of it. Comments and jokes about the RAGBRI(?) bike race and the guy who got killed in that also surfaced early on. TnT also discussed the horse racing event that took place over the weekend and tried to figure out why the Omaha For Decency people didnt protest that gambling venture. The guys gave away the boat and ATV at the Anchor Inn on Saturday night. The winner of the ATV was very pleased but the winner of the boat said he didnt really want it. The conversation lead into a discussion about past prize give-aways and how ungrateful some winners have seemed. Prize Lady Barb called in and spent some time recollecting some of the strange, weird situations shes had to deal with as the prize lady. TnT got some calls from past winners of various prizes who wanted to let them know they were grateful and actually kept their prizes. Later in the show, the winner of the boat checked in and said that his wife and friends had talked him into keeping the boat. This is Lisas last week with Todd and Tyler (except for the 1 day shell be back the week after TnT return from vacation). TnT decided theyd go through all the sad stuff about Lisas departure today so they could save her last day for fun stuff. They spent a good portion of the show talking about all the things Lisa would miss when shes gone and tried to make her cry several times as well (in a friendly way). A few of the listeners called in and added to the discussion along with some help from e-mailers/message board posters. Later in the show, Lisa talked about getting her Husker Helmet tattoo touched up before she leaves. The guys may try to arrange that to be done on the air. Tune in. Percy Crews II checked in this morning to tell TnT what a good time he had in Omaha. Percy really seemed to enjoy being on the show last week. The guys talked with him briefly about his cruise ship job, where hell be soon and then ended the conversation by saying that theyre looking forward to hearing from him again soon. Perhaps Percys got the hotline number and will check in from time to time. Lisa brought in a list of 10 things men can say during a conversation that will completely blow their chances of scoring with a woman. It wasnt a list of 10 bad pickup lines, but more general errors in conversation. TnT commented on each of them and then added some more of their own ideas into it. They got some calls from female listeners who gave them stories about things men have said to them that turned the tables on a possible night of fun. During this portion of the show, Donnies ex-wife called in to say that the turning point in some of her conversations with men all center around when she has to tell them who her ex-husband is. It seems some of those men are under the mistaken impression that Donnie would come after them. Well, Donnie got in a few friendly jabs at his ex before the call ended. After that, the discussion seemed to turn into talk about how Donnie and his ex dont seem to get along. Donnie stuck up for himself by saying they do when the kids are around and also said he doesnt care if anyone dates his ex. Lisa dropped some very well placed because he cheated bombs on Donnie all morning long, also. Well, thats about it for the Monday update. Check back here tomorrow for the Tuesday version. Thanks for watching. Good night. the Alien Guy-
