Todd and Tyler started off their show this morning talking about a variety of things. They replayed one of the calls they received yesterday from Holly, the 11-year-old potty mouth. Many of the early morning listeners who may have missed it when she called in yesterday phoned TnT to talk about the little brat. Brian Houston from Houston Lawns came in to do news and sports for Lisa and Travis. The guys called his mom to chat and she seemed a bit conservative yet pretty cool.

The finale of Running Character Survivor was supposed to take place this morning. It seemed as though TnT were tired of the bit and decided to scrap the idea shortly after airing the first clip from each of the two tribes. In reality, I think they decided not to play whatever they had because the below topic and preceding guest was so good that they didn’t want to lose the mojo by playing more clips of Donnie.

This next paragraph is incredibly disturbing. I just thought I should warn you in advance. Read on with extreme caution. During one of Brian’s newscasts, he brought up a disturbing story about a woman who was sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of anally penetrating her son with an object because he had messed his pants. The mother’s defense was that the family pitbull had done it, not her. The jury didn’t buy her tale and sent her away. Well, some years after the fact (6, I believe), the now 14-year-old boy has come out to say that he remembers the incident, his mom didn’t do it and it was, indeed, a dog that had caused the “severe anal tearing” on his youthful bum many years ago. Further research into the story lead Brian to uncover that a toxicology test was done on the boy and there was actual (this is nasty, prepare yourself) dog semen found in his butt. The jury didn’t believe the report and came to the conclusion that the mother could have manually placed the dog semen in her kid’s rear. Normally, I don’t write about these sort of strange stories but this one became such a huge part of today’s show, there was no way I could leave it out. Todd and Tyler took this story and ran with it for the last half of the show. Albeit terribly a nasty situation, the comedy that came out of the show centering on this story is among the best segments of the Todd and Tyler show I can remember. Donnie worked up a sound effect called “Doggie Shrimping”, while disturbing as all hell, was probably one of the funniest things I’ve heard in a long time. That little clip of audio just kept getting funnier and funnier all morning long. TnT even went so far as to work up a quick version of “Shrimping the Dog, Shrimping the Dog” to the tune of Judas Priest’s “Breaking the Law”. There really isn’t much more that I can say about this so I’ll move on to the in-studio guest portion of the show.

Joining TnT in studio was former Z-92 intern, current MTV News employee, Brian McFayden. Brian, from Ralston, worked for Z-92 as an intern back when TnT had just started. When he came in today, he shared old stories about a former program director that used to tell him to stay away from TnT because they’d corrupt him. He then went on to explain how he got the job at MTV and described what a normal day of work there consists of. TnT asked for details on some of the behind-the-scenes stuff and, for the most part, Brian gave them the answers they were looking for. They took some calls during Brian’s time in the studio and most of the calls were from Brian’s old friends or family members who wanted to give him a shout-out. It was a cool interview and Brian seemed like a really down to earth guy. TnT might get him back on the air in the future.

Join Donnie and Jeremy at Little Bo’s bar tonight in Columbus where they’ll be taking the Mobile Homers out to sell TnT’s new CD. We’ll have a report on how things go tonight during tomorrow’s show.
