Todd and Tyler started off this morning’s show discussing the upcoming event taking place at I-80 Speedway on Saturday night, “Grab Todd and Tyler’s Cock Ring”. The guys had several on-air meetings with Barb this morning about various aspects of the event and seemed to get everything straightened out. From there, they asked for listeners to offer up some chickens for them to use for the contest. Surprisingly, they got a chicken wrangler volunteer before 8am. The idea for the event is that 15 chickens will be released into an enclosed area. Participants of the event must catch the 5 chickens with cock rings on their necks. The 5 winners will get “Meet and Greet” backstage passes to meet Poison at the Birthday Bash. Stay tuned for more details.

TnT’s comedy buddy Mark Gross came by this morning on the way to the airport. He talked with TnT about his appearance on Leno and discussed how he might be back on the show in November, around the time he’ll be back at the Funny Bone. Mark only stayed for about 45 minutes because he had to catch a plane.

Cindy Andrew from Channel 7 sat in this morning as bootie call news lady. She joined in on the topics of the morning but wouldn’t say “cock ring” when TnT prompted her to during a discussion of the above-mentioned event. I don’t believe she’ll be in tomorrow but there’s a good chance we’ll hear Cindy back on the air with TnT at some point in the future.

During one of Cindy’s news stories, the gang was discussing a recent skydiving accident. At about that time, Travis came in and said he wasn’t chosen to jump with the Northern Lights jumping team. When asked why, Travis said, “Because I’m too fat!” It was pretty funny and that little phrase ended up being repeated over and over throughout the show.

Tom Becka, former Omaha radio show host, current KC radio host and standup comic came in this morning. He’ll be appearing at the Funny Bone this week. Tom talked about skydiving with TnT and Travis and relayed his stories of the two jumps he has made. TnT joked around with Tom about the current demise of the KFAB staff and tried to get Tom to joke around with them but Tom didn’t seem to want to badmouth the people who fired him. The last half of the show centered around Diekman Day. Yes, that’s right ladies and gentleman, today is the day in which all men are allowed to ask for Diekmans and their women, under the law of the Todd and Tyler show, must happily comply to completion. The guys spent a lot of time calling listener’s girlfriends/wives and informing them of the holiday. For the most part, most of the women they spoke to were more than happy to orally latch on to their men. There were, however, a few ladies who didn’t find the concept of Diekman Day that appealing. Some of the women even hung up on TnT and their men when asked whether or not they’d comply with the holiday. Those calls were actually funnier than the more compliant women.

In an interesting trend, many of the male callers today informed TnT that they’d gone quite some time without receiving a Diekman from their ladies. The time frames ranged anywhere from a few weeks to 10 years. TnT couldn’t believe men would go so long without the special kind of love. They spent some time discussing the situations with the male callers, in each case asking the men why they stay with a woman who won’t “do that to ya”. Most of the men didn’t really have an answer for it.

A Diekman Day just wouldn’t be complete without a “Diekman in progress” phone call. Well, TnT got theirs this morning. A lady checked in while she was working on her man and she made the collective show penis twitch repeatedly. The lady moaned and, um, well, slurped a little bit. At first, TnT didn’t believe it was real. They prompted the woman to give the phone to the man she was taking care of. She did and confirmation of the validity of the Diekman was made. The only problem was, once the guy had the phone, he seemed reluctant to give it back to the lady providing the Diekman to him. It didn’t really matter, though. Why? “It moved.”

By the end of the show, TnT had successfully hooked up many of their guy listeners with Diekmans today. Tomorrow, we’ll probably hear from a few of those men giving TnT “thank you” calls so tune in.
