| Wookin Pa Nub ![]() ![]() | TnT Show 08-10-2000 Thursday 8-10-00 Todd and Tyler started off the show this morning talking about a variety of things. The guys were recently loaned new vehicles from Shrier Ford and spent some time talking about that. Tyler joked about how big his Ford Excursion is and Todd discussed the big F150 truck hes currently driving. Exploding cows and tires were also a big part of the show today. Sound effects of various exploding things/people were scattered throughout morning. TnT also called the mayoral shed today and left a voice mail to Hal giving him a hard time for voting down a raise for the Mayors office. The mayor never called back. The guys also called Tylers dad and discussed the origins of the phrase Living the life of Ryan that Tyler uttered earlier in the week. Todd and Tyler made a phone call to the guy inside the Lancers Blade costume this morning as well. They talked about how the suit got stolen and found out what sort of charity events Blade would be missing due to the stolen outfit. TnT played an interview they recorded yesterday with Jack Blades of Night Ranger. He was a pretty cool guy and seemed genuinely enthused about playing the Birthday Bash. The guys spent some time talking about the old days of Night Ranger, their recent comeback and some of the other writing work hes done lately. TnT also asked Jack about the possibility of another Damned Yankees and jack made it sound like its a possibility. Todd and Tyler spent some time today taking calls on hot jobs. Basically, they were discussing how theyd hate to have a physical labor job, which required them to work outside in the heat. They sympathized with all of their listeners who do that sort of work. The phone calls came in from many listeners with different types of jobs who all wanted to tell TnT how hot they get doing their duties. John Turnbull from the Funny Bone came in this morning and hung out for a while. He is originally from Manitoba, Canada so the guys put in a call to the Manitobian information officer and talked with her about how nice Canadians are and discussed Canadian holidays. Catch him at the Funny Bone this weekend by calling 493-8036. The guys also called Lynn Taylor this morning and talked to her about the hate call she recorded last weekend. The conversation quickly turned into a discussion about Lynns favorite band, Creed, and how their bass player recently left (the band, not Lynns house
although, through her own admission, Lynn would jump those Creed boys in a second). The guys brought the show to an end by rereading an e-mail from early in the show. The e-mail was from a "straight male that went on and on about how women shouldnt give their men Diekmans because they would be bowing down to the power of men. They asked for reaction calls from listeners but didnt get too many. That didnt matter, though. They got on a fine roll talking about the topic amongst themselves with the occasional interjection from Donnie, JP and the Funny Bone Comedian, John. Tomorrow, the guys will have Blue House in studio as well as Jason Dickson from the Funny Bone. It should be a great week-ending show so make sure you tune in. Thanks for watching. Good night. the Alien Guy-
