Todd and Tyler spent the first half of their show talking about anything that came to mind. Female bank robbers with “open sores” on their faces, God giving them great weather for the Birthday Bash tomorrow, the Birthday Bash itself, Donnie getting all cleaned up for the Debbie Gibson drop-in, Travis being weird and quitting drinking for no reason and which deity is the best (Ala, Muhammad, Jesus and so on). They didn’t seem to latch on to any one topic in particular; they talked about everything. Lisa Volinec was in studio again doing the news for the guys. She didn’t stay for the entire show but at least she didn’t quit to take another job and not give them any notice.

Larry the Cable Guy checked in this morning and gave a commentary on Oprah again. He talked about how fat she is and how she got to be famous in the first place. He also touched on her crack smoking problem, which I had completely forgot about until now. It was pretty funny. Larry will probably be checking in Monday morning so tune in to see what else he has to say.

Debbie Gibson came in studio this morning! After speaking to TnT over the phone a few days ago, she asked her publicist if she could stop in and do the show live once she got to town. Yea, sweet little Debbie Gibson dug TnT that much! Anyway, she came in around 8:20 and stayed until the show ended just slightly after 10am. Debbie mentioned that she liked eggs when she talked to TnT before so the guys called Gene from the Brass Grille (1207 Harney) and had him come up and make her some eggs. She thoroughly enjoyed them. Musical Director Mitch Towne also dropped in today. After not hearing from him in a month, it wasn’t surprising that he’d show up the same day as the guys had Debbie Gibson in studio. The guys talked with Debbie about a plethora of topics. They discussed her Broadway career, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat” and her career as a teen pop star. She told the guys about crazy stalkers who were after her and mentioned that one of them was put in jail for 6 years.

TnT got into her love life as well. Debbie told them all about some of the people she’s dated in her life which included a guy on a Folgers coffee commercial and some guy from the E! Channel. Debbie informed the guys that she has never been drunk, done drugs or even smoked a cigarette. They were a little surprised but seemed to dig the wholesomeness of it all. She does have a tattoo on her ankle, however. It’s of the rose from the Beauty and the Beast show (which she performed on Broadway). Debbie mentioned that she knew Ricky Martin so TnT played their “Living La Vita Homo” song for her. She dug it and even sang along in parts.

Debbie seemed to enjoy herself on the show this morning and TnT had a great time talking to her. She was surprisingly cool for a former teen pop star. If you get time, go see her show this weekend. I believe you can call TicketMasters for information and to buy tickets.
